What to do in Milan this summer? At last the summer is arrived!  Milan is always active, and now it is full of tourists. Any idea to experience the city in this season: I suggest you some exhibitions Palazzo  Reale- Piazza Duomo, 12 GUIDO CREPAX - Portrait of an Artist June 20 to September 15 For the lovers of comics, Giulio Crepax is the father of the famous Valentina. This author from  Milan was not only a cartoonist but also a journalist, an advertising designer, an author of various album covers. For the first time a retrospective that highlights some untied aspects from the character Valentina . This exhibition shows the whole work of this artist. Very suitable for the lovers of pop culture!
CASTLE SFORZESCO - Treasure Room EGYPTIAN TEXTILES FROM THE HELLENISTIC ERA TO THE MIDDLE AGES You have until September 15 to visit this magnificent exhibition at the Castello Sforzesco. The beauty of the pieces showed and the location make this a magical event that you cannot miss. Rarely the cloths of the past are preserved entire – for practical reasons.  The collectors have preferred more frequently to keep only the ornamental elements , however they are very fragile and delicate. The ornamental motifs generally refer to natural elements such as plants and animals and the pieces in this exhibition are divided by type: geometric patterns, plants, flowers, animals, human figures. The pieces shown are 50 but all the 170 of the collection are described with the reconstruction of their origin. Free admission.

GUIDO CREPAX - Ritratto di un artista 20 giugno – 15 settembre Per gli amanti dei fumetti Giulio Crepax è il padre della famosissima Valentina, autore milanese non fu solo un fumettista ma anche giornalista, designer pubblicitario, autore di molte copertine di dischi. Per la prima volta una retrospettiva che mette in evidenza alcuni aspetti che lo slegano dalla nota fama di essere il padre del personaggio Valentina e mostra il suo complesso lavoro. Adattissimo per gli amanti della cultura pop!

TESSUTI EGIZIANI DALL’ ETA’ ELLENISTICA AL MEDIOEVO Avete tempo fino al 15 settembre per poter visitare questa magnifica mostra al Castello sforzesco. La bellezza dei pezzi contenuti e la location rendono questo un appuntamento magico a cui non si può mancare. Per ragioni di praticità raramente si sono conservati i capi di abbigliamento nella loro interezza: più frequentemente i collezionisti hanno preferito conservare solo gli elementi ornamentali che sono però molto fragili e delicati. I motivi ornamentali si rifanno in genere a elementi naturali come piante e animali e per questo i pezzi in mostra sono divisi in base alla tipologia: motivi geometrici, vegetali, floreali, animali, figure umane. I pezzi mostrati sono 50 e vengono descritti tutti i 170 pezzi con ricostruzione della loro origine. Ingresso gratuito.

Cala la sera ed è ora di scatenarsi nelle danze perché anche il più pigro sarà coinvolto dalla seguente manifestazione FORUM DI ASSAGO XXIII EDIZIONE LATINOAMERICANDO EXPO 2013 Fino al 13 agosto Un vero e proprio villaggio dove poter scoprire la cucina, l’arte il folclore latinoamericano con tutto il suo calore. Un fitto programma di concerti, serate danzanti e manifestazioni. Qui potrete venire a contatto con una cultura simile per certi aspetti a  quella Italiana e diversa sotto altri. Divertirsi e scoprire nuovi orizzonti: un’idea magnifica per serate differenti dove conoscere amici nuovi!
