THE REVIEW: PAI GERANIUM&THISTLE REBALANCING DAY CREAM

It's been a while since I wrote my last post but I had very very busy days...I would love to be able to write a post every single day but for me at the moment it's impossible...:(Anyway, today I would like to write about Pai Geranium & Thistle Rebalancing day cream, a moisturizer that I'm liking a lot. I heard about this UK brand by Essie Button (or Estée Lalonde as she recently changed her name on the web), a London based canadian youtuber that I'm sure most of you already know. She  always gives great recommendations about make up and skincare products.As my skin is combination but blemish prone as hers, I thought that this moisturizer would have been perfect for me, and I was right.

Mi sembra passato un secolo dal mio ultimo post, purtroppo è un periodo davvero super stressante e non riesco proprio a dedicarmi al blog come vorrei...fosse per me scriverei un post al giorno ma nun ce la fo...comunque sia, bando allo stress e parliamo di una crema giorno che sto usando da circa due mesetti e che mi sta piacendo molto. Si tratta della Geranium & Thistle Rebalancing day cream di Pai. Pai è un marchio inglese che ho scoperto grazie alla magnifica Essie Button (aka Estée Lalonde), una youtuber canadese che vive a Londra seguitissima (penso che molte di voi la conosceranno) che consiglia sempre ottimi prodotti sia per quanto riguarda il make up che la cosmesi.

Questa crema è organica e contiene geranio e cardo, due ingredienti che aiutano a riequilibrare la pelle. E' perfetta per i periodi in cui la pelle è stressata, infiammata, disidratata a causa dello stress, durante i cambi di stagione o per cause ormonali. E' ottima anche per la pelle sensibile dato che non contiene alcol. In più. l'erogatore la rende molto più igienica, cosa importantissima per evitare i batteri che possono peggiorare l'acne.
This cream is organic and contains geranium and thistle, two ingredients that help rebalancing the skin. I think it's perfect for periods in which the skin is angry, dehydrated or blemish prone, due to stress, change of seasons or hormonal phases. It is great also for sensitive skin as it doesn't contain alcohol. Moreover, it has a pump, which makes it really hygienic, thing which is extremely important to avoid bacteria that can worsen acne problems.

Come potete vedere la consistenza è piuttosto ricca, ma quando la applicate sentirete immediatamente che non è per niente grassa, anzi, si assorbe subito e idrata molto allo stesso tempo. La sto utilizzando da ormai quasi due mesi e posso sicuramente confermare che è una crema di ottima qualità. Aiuta il mio make up a durare di più, specialmente nella zona T, dove la mia pelle è un pochino più oleosa. L'unica cosa che non mi piace è l'odore (probabilmente a causa del cardo) ma sappiamo come funziona con molti prodotti bio...le profumazioni sono spesso..."particolari". In ogni caso, niente di insopportabile. Il prezzo è altino, circa 44€ per 50ml, ma penso che sia utile investire in prodotti per la skincare di qualità se poi i risultati sono esattamente quelli che ci si aspetta.Vi consiglio vivamente di dare un'occhiata anche agli altri prodotti di questo brand, perchè la sua fondatrice, Sarah Brown, è molto attenta a creare prodotti tollerabili da soggetti allergici o da persone che hanno la pelle sensibile (come me), usando solo prodotti naturali e sicuri.Trovate Pai sul loro sito ufficiale o in Italia anche su Eccoverde.
As you can see its consistency is pretty thick but when you apply it you will immediately feel that it's not greasy at all. It's light, but very hydrating at the same time. I'm using it since almost two months and I can surely confirm that it's a very good quality product. It helps also my make up to stay put without melting in the T zone, where I tend to be a little bit oilier. The only thing I don't like is the smell, but you know the drill...organic products often smell weird!! Anyway it's nothing I can't bear.The price is on the high side (€ 44,00 50ml) but I think it's worth investing in some good skincare if the results are the ones you expect. I really recommend you to check also the other products from this brand, because its founder, Sarah Brown, is very into creating products which can work for allergic people and sensitive skin people using all natural and safe ingredients.You can buy Pai directly from their website or in Italy on Eccoverde website.
