Two years old...we're growing up!

Little big projects grow...

Everything started two years ago: two years of ideas and experiments, which sometimes took longer than it should have, maybe because of my "I can make it better" attitude, but also because of this Australia. This country has definitely slowed the rhytm down, despite having let a breath of fresh air in, but as you know, changes at the beginning usually make the road a bit hardest, but then they always give you great satisfaction! There are some days full of words that beg to be written, some other days full of ideas and initiatives which eagerly ask to be realized, and then the ones like no, no way, I can’t write or draw, I can't put two pictures together, I lack the inspiration and the right mood. You guys usually don’t see those days, they silently elapse, without anybody saying a word ... sometimes I just sleep and that's it, some other days I need to take refuge in my wonderful world that is the kitchen to try something new, sometimes I need to stop and reset, to understand where I’m going and to invent some fresh ideas. The good thing is that even then, I always want to come back here to share all this with you, and very quickly! And then the magic starts all over again: taking notes for new ideas, realizing projects, waiting for the right light to take pics, writing text, choosing the right graphics, reading everything again, and then, finally, posting it Each time a little bit of anxiety comes up,  wondering if you will like it, waiting to see the effect it will have on you, and then it's already time to worry again about the next post. The road is still uphill, but my little daily satisfactions keep coming and my enthusiasm is still alive. It's a team effort, it's me and you who occasionally stop by here, read, take inspiration, comment and share. If I’m here is mainly because you guys are there, I think I have already mentioned it here ... so thank you thank you thank you! Piccoli grandi progetti crescono…tutto cominciò due anni fa. Due anni d’idee ed esperimenti, che a volte hanno richiesto più attesa del dovuto, un po’ per quella mia propensione al “ posso fare di meglio” e poi quest’Australia…che ha rallentato un po’ i ritmi, nonostante abbia portato una ventata di aria nuova, ma si sa i cambiamenti all’inizio rendono la strada un po’ più in salita ma poi danno sempre grandi soddisfazioni. Ci sono giorni, ricchi di parole che chiedono di essere scritte, giorni ricchi d’idee e iniziative, che impazientemente chiedono di essere realizzate e giorni che proprio no, oggi non se ne parla, non riesco a scrivere e non riesco a montare insieme due foto, manca l’ispirazione e l’umore giusto. Quei giorni li non li vedete, passano silenziosi, senza che nessuno dica una parola…a volte basta dormirci sopra, a volte mi serve rifugiarmi in quel fantastico mondo che è la cucina e provare qualcosa di nuovo, a volte mi serve soffermarmi per capire dov’è che stavo andando e trovare idee nuove…ma la cosa buona è che poi, la voglia di tornare qui a condividere tutto questo con voi, torna sempre velocemente. E poi tutto ricomincia di nuovo…prendi appunti per idee nuove, realizza, aspetta la luce giusta per fare le foto, scrivi, scegli la veste grafica giusta, rileggi, riguarda e poi pubblica. Ogni volta con un po’ d’ansia pensando chissà se piacerà e aspettando di vedere l’effetto che farà, poi è già di nuovo l’ora di preoccuparsi del prossimo post e via. La strada è ancora in salita, ma le mie piccole quotidiane soddisfazioni arrivano e il mio entusiasmo è sempre vivo…è un lavoro di squadra, siamo io e voi, che ogni tanto passate di qui, leggete, prendete ispirazione, commentate e condividete. Se sono qui è soprattutto perché ci siete voi, credo di avervelo già detto qui…quindi grazie grazie grazie!!! Spero abbiate un po’ di pazienza nei prossimi mesi, mi aspettano un po’ di viaggi, che mi terranno lontana da voi, dopo di che tornerò alla carica, più presente, più costante e con tante cose da raccontarvi!!! Nelle mie valigie piuttosto un paio di scarpe in meno, ma sempre macchina fotografica, Moleskine e matite…prenderò appunti lo prometto!
