Ormai risale a qualche mese fa l'acquisto di questi due prodotti Urban Decay.. stavo cercando un bel pennello da cipria che potesse sostituire il mio 129 SE di MAC (formato travel size di un pennello da blush) e un correttore per le imperfezioni più chiaro di quello che avevo (studio finish NW25 di Mac che sto usando adesso e forse è pure troppo chiaro per il mio attuale incarnato.. arghhh).A few months ago I've bought two UD products.. I was looking for a Powder brush because I wasn't satisfied with my MAC 129SE (which is a quite small blush brush) and for a light concealer (my Mac studio finish in NW25 was too dark.. I'm using it right now and it's almost too light because I have a tan)..
GOOD KARMA POWDER BRUSHDa tempo avevo in lista il pennello da cipria MAC 134.. che costa la bellezza di 57,50 euro.. poi girovagando per Sephora a Milano mi è caduto l'occhio sui pennelli Urban Decay, mi sono annotata il prezzo e ci ho pensato un po'. Avevo già provato un pennello UD, quello trovato nella Naked2 che è davvero ottimo così ho deciso di prendere anche il pennellone da cipria!On my list I had MAC 134 powder brush which is really expensive (57,50 euro) then I've seen good karma brushes at Sephora and since the UD brush I already had is really great I decided to pass on the Mac one and go for the UD powder brush!
Il pennello da cipria di Urban Decay è medio-grande, ha una forma rotonda e la punta a cupola ed è piuttosto denso. Il manico è tozzo, fatto di materiale riciclato.
This brush is quite big, has a domed shape and it's dense. The handle is squat and done with recycled material.
è incredibilmente morbido e questa è una caratteristica fondamentale.. non sopporto quando un pennello mi buca il viso >___<It's incredibly soft *__* softness is a characteristic I pretend since I hate brushes that sting >____<
Tutti i pennelli Urban Decay sono composti da peli sintetici, quindi utilizzabili con prodotti in polvere o cremosi. Attualmente ho utilizzato questo pennello solo con la cipria e ritengo sia troppo grande per essere utilizzato come pennello da blush. Mi piace applicare la cipria su tutto il viso con movimento circolare, preferisco quindi i pennelli fatti per essere usati "di punta" più che i pennelli piatti adatti a picchiettare il prodotto sulla pelle.. il pennello di UD si presta comunque bene per entrambe le applicazioni! è ottimo anche per sfumare il blush se, come me, avete esagerato un po' con il colore XDIn questi mesi di utilizzi non ha mai perso un pelo né colore durante i lavaggi.Prezzo? 28 euro
All UD brushes are made with synthetic hairs so you can use them with both powder and cream products. I only use the powder brush with beauty powders and think it's too big to apply blushes but it's great to blend the edges if you had used too much product! I like to apply the powder with the tip of the brush and with a circular motion but you can use this brush also by tapping the product on your face. CONCEALER PENCILQuesti matitoni correttori sono stati lanciati da UD durante la primavera 2012 e mi hanno immediatamente incuriosita così, quando mi sono stufata di usare un correttore troppo scuro che mi lasciava le macchie sulla pelle, ho deciso di acquistare un matitone da usare nei mesi più freddi quando la mia pelle non è minimamente abbronzata. Ho swatchato allegramente i colori più chiari e ne ho selezionati due che potevano fare al caso mia: DEA e FBI. Sì, perché i nomi delle varie tonalità sono gli stessi di alcuni servizi segreti!
UD has launched this collection of concealer pencils last spring and I've immediately been really interested in them! So, when I had enough of a concealer too dark for my skin, I went swatch every shade and select two colors: DEA and FBI.. the concealer pencils have the names of famous intelligence services!
Il makeup artist di UD mi ha provato sul viso entrambe le tonalità e consigliato di prendere quello più scuro, FBI! Io ero un po' indecisa, infatti probabilmente sarebbe stata perfetta una via di mezzo tra i due colori, ma accontentiamoci! Uso questo correttore su brufoletti e macchie e non per coprire le occhiaie anche se quest'ultimo dovrebbe essere il suo vero scopo (c'è scritto Anti-cerne).. non saprei dirvi se chi ha un incarnato rosato riuscirà a trovare la tonalità giusta perché, almeno i colori più chiari, mi sembrano decisamente caldi!The UD make up artist tried on me both shades and suggested to take the darker one, FBI! Probably a shade between the two would have been perfect! I use this pencil over blemishes but not to cover dark circles although it's an anti-cerne product. I don't know if people with a cool undertone can find the right shade for them because all those concealer pencil look warm to me.
Ha una consistenza piuttosto cremosa, ma può essere tranquillamente usato anche da chi ha una pelle grassa, anzi, il make up artist mi ha detto che svolge un'azione astringente sui brufoletti! Per appuntarlo uso il temperino di Urban Decay, ma mi pare entri tranquillamente anche in quello Kiko. Non ho grandi problemi durante questa operazione, ma ovviamente si perde una buona parte di prodotto! Eventualmente potete mettere la matita in frigo per un po' prima di appuntarla^^Utilizzo questa matita direttamente sul punto interessato e poi sfumo il prodotto picchiettandolo con le dita.

FBI blended/swatched
It is a creamy concealer but can be used by people with oily skin too. The mua told me it even dries pimples! The sharpener I use is the UD one but I guess you can use whichever you want!
