Urban Decay Pocket Rocket: David

Applicate il vostro lucidalabbra e ammirate un gran bel ragazzo in mutande. Carino, no? Con i lip gloss Pocket Rocket di Urban Decay potete portare con voi questo bel fusto e spogliarlo quando più vi aggrada. Il “mio” bel fusto si chiama David, è con me da più di un anno ma non mi sembra più disponibile da Sephora. Ci sono però tanti altri tra cui scegliere. Ammetto che il mio ragazzo non era molto contento del mio acquisto all’epoca. Ehm ehm. Nella confezione appare come un fucsia abbastanza scuro e intenso, ma una volta applicato è molto più simile a un rosa/fucsia più chiaro. “Rub me” - “Strofinami”, suggerisce la confezione, perché in teoria vengono rilasciati ferormoni o qualcosa del genere, che dovrebbero attirare la preda maschile. Mah. Non ci credo molto, ma tant’è, se volete potete seguire le istruzioni. Il packaging è diverso da quello dei normali lucidalabbra, solitamente cilindrici. Infatti è più piatto, perfetto appunto per essere infilato in tasca senza essere notato. Da qui il nome del prodotto. Geniale, uh? Il prodotto in sé è molto buono, si applica facilmente grazie all’applicatore a pennello, e non rimane appiccicoso. Il colore è luminoso e dà un bell’effetto gloss alle labbra. L’unica cosa che non mi entusiasma è l’odore. Per alcuni è molto buono, sa di créme brulee e così via, ma a me sembra semplicemente un odore davvero strano e non molto piacevole. Nota positiva: lo potete percepire all’applicazione, ma una volta sulle vostre labbra non si sente più. Meno male. I Pocket Rocket si trovano da Sephora, e il prezzo si aggira intorno ai €20 per 8 ml di prodotto.

My boy is David. I admit when my boyfriend saw this he was not very happy. It looks like a pretty dark mauve in the tube, but once applied, it turns into a really nice deep pink shade. I absolutely love it. There's an instruction on the back of the tube “rub me”, so that the strip releases pheromones, which are supposed to attract the opposite sex. Ok, nice try. I highly doubt that it works, but it is still a unique idea! The packaging is quite unique as well. It’s not rounded as many other lip glosses, but it is more flat, as you are supposed to stick this into your pockets. Genius. The product comes with a brush which makes application really easy. The formula is quite nice, I find it non-sticky, smooth and comfortable to wear. Another thing I should mention because it might be a downside for someone is the strong, weird scent. I read somewhere that it reminds of crème brulee. Well, I disagree. To me it smells just weird. But once you put it on, you can’t really smell it anymore.
