The Alps in Italy are full of the excellent ski resorts for those who want to have fun on the slopes. From Valle d'Aosta, through Lombardy, until we reach the magnificent Dolomites there is a lot of fun. Last year I went to the Dolomites and I found the incredible landscapes. When the sun breaks the darkness of the night and it rises from the sharp peaks of the Dolomites, it highlights the difference of the colour between the rocks and patches of snow: the meadows, the pastures and the vast stretches of pine trees light up their colours, warmed by the golden light of the day. In the valley of the Dolomites -South Tyrol Italian- the Sasso Lungo and Sasso Piatto, with their particular forms, acquire the same brilliance of the landscape and the altipiano di Susi enlights all the area, letting the rays arrive to the three countries of the valley: Castelrotto Susi and Fie. This valley-even in summer or winter -is very different from our noisy and chaotic city: in these places you can pull the plug definitely enjoying the pleasure of peace. The valley of the Dolomites is a source of attraction for people of all ages and  it promotes the activities, the sports, the cultural and gastronomic aspects, for all the demands. The Tyrol is a region both on the Italian and on the Austrian territory: the linguistic similarity emphasizes the belonging to a single area, that is not affected by geographical boundaries. The three countries - that are part of the Valle di Siusi -are small and lying in the sun, in a panoramic position, which reaches its top in the meadows of the plateau. The three countries - basins receiving a large part of tourism - are between 1,000 and 1,200 meters above the sea level, in contrast to the plateau that lies in a higher position and boasts the highest peaks. The Alpe di Siusi is perhaps the most European wide plateau and the basin spot a variety of winter and summer walks. It is in the Sciliar Natural Park overlooking more valleys with its massive, offering the visitor of the landscape shows impressive: among the main peaks we remember the Massif including Monte Pez-Peaks of Susi. The Mount Pez with its 2563 m high is definitely the highest point of the whole plateau. Are you still undecided? Pack your bags: the snow have arrived and the slopes await you. If you do not ski you can relax in the spa of your hotel. In this region, almost all facilities are provided. You will then relax in a hot tub looking out the windows at the spectacular peaks. Not so bad!

Le alpi in Italia sono ricche  di ottime località sciistiche per chi si vuole divertire sulle piste. Dalla Valle d’Aosta, passando per la Lombardia, fino a  giungere alle magnifiche Dolomiti c’è da divertirsi. L’anno scorso sono andata fino alle dolomiti ed ho scoperto dei paesaggi incredibili. Quando il sole spezza  il buio della notte e si eleva dalle cime spigolose delle Dolomiti, si evidenzia la differenza cromatica tra la roccia e le macchie di neve: i prati, i pascoli e le immense distese di pini accendono i loro colori, scaldati dalla luce dorata del giorno. Nella valle di Siusi, nel Sud Tirolo Italiano, il Sasso Lungo e il Sasso Piatto, con le loro particolari forme, acquistano la stessa brillantezza di tutto il paesaggio e l’altipiano di Siusi, per primo, si illumina, lasciando che i raggi raggiungano in breve i tre paesi della valle: Castelrotto, Siusi e Fiè. Questa valle, sia essa vissuta in estate o in inverno, è molto diversa dalle nostre metropoli brulicanti e chiassose: in questi luoghi si riesce a staccare definitivamente la spina  assaporando il piacere della tranquillità. La valle di Siusi è fonte di attrazione turistica per persone di ogni età ed è promotrice di attività, sportive, culturali e gastronomiche, che soddisfano le differenti esigenze.

Il Tirolo si estende sia sul territorio italiano che su  quello austriaco: la somiglianza linguistica ne sottolinea l’appartenenza ad un’unica area che non risente dei confini geografici. I tre paesi che fanno parte della Valle di Siusi sono piccoli e distesi al sole, in una posizione estremamente panoramica, che raggiunge l’apice paesaggistico sui prati dell’altipiano. I tre paesi, bacini di ricezione di gran parte del turismo, sono tra i  1.000 ed i 1.200 metri di altezza, a differenza dell’altipiano che giace in posizione più elevata e vanta cime più alte. L’alpe di Siusi è forse il più esteso altipiano europeo ed è bacino di una varietà di spot invernali e di passeggiate estive.  E’ inserito nel parco naturale dello Sciliar che si affaccia su più valli  con il suo massiccio regalando al visitatore degli spettacoli paesaggistici di grande effetto: fra le principali vette ricordiamo il Massiccio comprendente il Monte Pez-Cime di Siusi. Il monte Pez con i suoi 2.563 m di altezza è sicuramente il punto più elevato di tutto l’altipiano. Siete ancora indecisi?  Fate le valigie che la neve è arrivata e le piste vi aspettano. Se non sciate potete rilassarvi nella spa del vostro hotel. In questa regione quasi tutte le strutture ne sono dotate. Vi troverete quindi a rilassarvi in un idromassaggio al caldo osservando fuori dalle vetrate la spettacolarità delle cime. Non male!
