Australia is a land where you can walk a lot. If only because it’s a huge island :) We might not be able to do a lot of climbs uphill very high, although you can still do some, but you can definitely bushwalk.
What is bushwalking? This is a word I discovered the first time I went to Australia in 2002 and it is basically walking in the bush, the Australian bush, which is the typical vegetation of Australia. Here’s the definition of a bushwalk by wikipedia: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/bushwalk

In Australia sicuramente si puo’ camminare molto. Fosse solamente per la grandezza dell’isola che non lascia dubbi :) Certo magari non si possono fare molte passeggiate in altezza, come sulle Alpi, anche se ce ne sono, ma sicuramente si puo’ fare del “bushwalking”.

Cos’e’ il “bushwalking”? E’ un termine che ho scoperto la prima volta che sono andata in Australia nel 2002. Si tratta praticamente di fare una passeggiata, normalmente in piano, nel “bush” australiana, cioe’ la vegetazione tipica dell’Australia fatta di arbusti e cespugli piuttosto bassi.
