plastica e pelle? boh, mah chissà...

riflettendo sulle strane coppie mi sono detta..chissà la plastica con la pelle...quindi presa una bottiglia di plastica di un bell'azzurro mare, tagliato il fondo (la parte più dura...)
thinking about matching strange couples i told myself..what about to match plastic and leather? so, i grabbed a plastic bottle, cut out the bottom (the thickest part)

passata sulla fiamma a fuoco molto elevato per un paio di secondi, giusto il tempo di smussare gli zigomi sporgenti..tagliate a mano ed in forma alquanto irregolare delle foglie in pelle e plastica
moulded it on the gas, cut out a bunch of leather and plastic leaves

incollate una sull'altra con la colla a caldo
glued each other with hot clear glue

assemblate insieme e rifinite al centro con un bottone di pelle ed uno di plastica
put them together and embellished with a plastic then leather button at the centre

modellate con le mani fino a che la colla nn indurisce
hand moulded until glue becomes strong

montato un disco di pelle per coprire le imperfezioni e finite con una chiusura per spilla...ne è venuto fuori un accostamento simpatico e spiritoso:)

poi...siccome nn mi andava proprio di buttare via i rimasugli... ho sagomato dei petali
then i did not want to throw away the pieces

passati sul fuoco per farli raggrinzire e modellare
i cut out some petals

tagliate altre due foglie...

assemblato i petali con la colla a caldo
put the ptelas togheter with the hot glue
attaccato le foglie e rifinito con una vecchia cerniera montata a spirale
glued the leaves to the petals and finished in the centre with an old zip
ecco un altro corsage coloratissimo, nn montato con alcuna finiture, da utilizzare nei mille, e dico 1000 modi che la fantasia ci suggerisce. buon lavoro!
