Zohre Etezadolsaltaneh è una donna di Teheran, ha 49 anni, è un’insegnante in pensione, ma soprattutto è l’incarnazione del motto in cui crede fermamente: volere è potere. E’ nata senza braccia, eppure è totalmente indipendente: cucina, dipinge, tesse, si prende cura di sua madre ammalata di cancro… Nelle foto la possiamo vedere mentre, con l’utilizzo dei piedi, dipinge uno dei suoi quadri, cucina, tesse un Klim, ed accanto ad un suo quadro, durante la mostra tenutasi ieri, 23 gennaio, a Teheran.

Etezadolsaltaneh, a retired special education teacher, was born with no arms but lives the life of an independent woman who has been doing cooking, painting, weaving kilims and taking care for her mother who is a cancer patient. She gets $600 per month as pension from the government and lives by the mantra
