Il 23 Aprile Youtube, il più noto canale video mondiale, ha compiuto 8 anni. La sensazione è che esista da sempre, ma in realtà il primo video fu caricato proprio il 23 Aprile 2005 dal suo fondatore, Jawed Karim, che uploadò "Me at the zoo", una clip di 20 secondi che ha per protagonista se stesso all'interno dello zoo di San Diego. Ebbene si, Tumblr, la piattaforma di tumblelog più famosa, ha lanciato l'aggiornamento 3.3.1 della sua app per iOS. Tra le novità più interessanti è stata introdotta la possibilità di condividere i post anche su Facebook e Twitter. L'interconnessione tra social network è ormai un fenomeno in continua espansione, l'intreccio di condivisioni sui diversi canali social sta diventando un tessuto importante per il traffico di tutta la rete...e ora anche Tumblr fa parte di questa trama.

Anche LinkedIn aggiorna la sua app e dimostra ancora una volta il suo orientamento "professionale". Infatti la gestione dei contatti è stata completamente rivista e rinnovata: ora è possibile connettere il nostro account a Google, Yahoo, Evernote, Outlook, integrando i contatti anche da queste piattaforme. // 4 - Chattare dal News Feed: con Facebook si può
Chattare su Facebook fino ad oggi voleva dire controllare nella barra laterale se la persona con cui volevamo parlare fosse online (semaforino verde), poi bisognava cliccare sul suo nome e iniziare a scrivere. Da qualche giorno invece Facebook sta testando un modo per abbattere tutti questi passaggi e mostrare direttamente nel News Feed il semaforino verde (presence dot) se la persona è online, in modo da poter iniziare subito una conversazione in tempo reale. Vedremo se i test saranno positivi e se questa funzionalità sarà introdotta anche sui nostri profili...
// 5 - I commenti di Google+ arrivano anche su Blogger
Novità anche per tutti quelli che posseggono un blog su Blogger. Fin'ora, dopo aver pubblicato un post, era possibile condividerlo su Google+ tramite gli appositi pulsanti. Però i commenti ricevuti su Google+ potevano essere visualizzati solo lì. Invece ora i commenti di G+ appariranno anche su Blogger, in questo modo l'autore del blog potrà seguire e rispondere ai suoi commentatori interagendo da un'unico posto.
