This was the second time in Wales for the Girlfriend. The first one was a weekend in Llandudno , that is also worth a visit.
This time the Boyfriend drove her to a lovely town called Caernarforn in North Wales, to visit its beautiful castle.Castle and town were founded by king Edward I in 1283 on the river Seiont.In 1969 the place became famous for being the setting of Prince Charles' Investiture as Prince of Wales.
Per la Girlfriend questa e' stata la seconda volta in Galles. La prima era stata un fine settimana a Llandudno, che merita anch'esso una visita.Questa volta il Boyfriend l'ha portata in un bel paesino chiamato Caernarforn nel Galles del Nord, per visitarne il bellissimo castello.Castello e villaggio furono fondati dal re Edoardo I nel 1283, sul fiume Seiont.Nel 1969 il posto divenne celebre per aver ospitato la cerimonia di investitura del Principe Carlo a "Principe di Galles".

One of the Girlfriend's British favourites: beans on toast. We had lunch in a tiny and cosy cafeteria, where it actually felt like being in someone else's houses (obviously welcomed!)
Uno dei piatti britannici preferiti dalla Girlfriend: fagioli su pane tostato.Abbiamo pranzato in una piccola e accogliente caffetteria, dove si aveva davvero l'impressione di essere a casa di qualcuno (ovviamente bene accolti!)
