Sembra sempre una novità , ma si potrebbe dire che si tratta dell'ennesima ricaduta, perché dal Mal d'Africa, in fondo, la moda non è mai veramente guarita.
Immancabili come le migrazioni dei Big Five dopo le grandi piogge (ebbene sì, Discovery Channel colpisce ancora) ogni primavera ecco il ritorno nelle nostre savane d'asfalto di donne zebra, tigre, giraffa... Per non parlare di quella sottile insofferenza che prende tutte noi, infreddolite e pallide occidentali, al primo raggio di sole: all'improvviso vogliamo sole, caldo sulla pelle e colore negli armadi!
E soprattutto, scommetoo che in questo momento molte di noi vogliono fare le valigie e andarsene ovunque, purché lontano.
E la moda ci dà gioco: dalle sahariane couture create già nel '68 da Yves Saint Laurent alle incursioni tribal di Jean Paul Gaultier, ai wax rivisitati di Junya Watanabe di qualche estate fa, le citazioni etniche nel prêt-à-porter hanno sempre giocato con la voglia di evasione, anche se solo con la fantasia.
Quest'anno, a trasformarci in regine Ashanti o esploratrici del deserto, non c'è solo l'ispirazione estetica, ma anche la voglia di recuperare lavorazioni artigianali sontuose, le uniche in grado di fare la differenza tra proposte di prêt-à-porter sempre più globali e omogeneizzate.
Ecco quindi comparire trench e parka "contaminati" da collari fatti a mano all'uncinetto, profili di rafia, tessere in resina e perline ricamate; sandali Masai e grandi borse di pelle intrecciata che riprendono i colori dei murales in Sudafrica. Il tutto, senza allontanarsi da una silhouette quasi bon ton, fatta di gonne al ginocchio e abiti da cocktail che si adatta perfettamente alla vita cittadina.

So appears trench coats and parkas "contaminated" by crochet collars handmade, raffia profiles, resin beads and embroideries; Masai sandals and large woven leather handbags that reflect the colors of the murals in South Africa. All this, without moving away from a silhouette bon ton, made of knee-length skirts and cocktail dresses, that perfectly fit the city life.
