After the Controversy with Karl Lagerfeld, Adele is on the Cover of US Vogue

After being on the Cover of British Vogue last year, the pop artist Adele has hit the cover of the prestigious US Vogue for the March issue after her worldwide success. This is a very significant cover because it came out after the controversy with Karl Lagerfeld that in an interview said that British singer "is a little too fat". Adele's replied on US talk show 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper and said: "I enjoy being me; I always have done," she explained. "I've seen people where it rules their lives, you know, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and it wears them down. And I don't want that in my life. It's never been an issue - at least, I've never hung out with the sort of horrible people who would make it an issue.  I have insecurities, of course, but I don't hang out with anyone who points them out to me." La risposta di Adele non si è fatta attendere e sullo show americano 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper ha dichiarato: "Sono felice di essere me stessa; e l'ho sempre fatto," ha spiegato. "Ho visto persone che si sono fatte condizionare la loro vita, sai, chi vuole essere magra o avere un seno più grande, e li butta giù. E io non voglio questo nella mia vita, Non è mai stato un problema, almeno - non mi sono mai frequentata con gente così orribile che ne facesse un problema. Ho insicurezze, certo, ma non frequento nessuno che me le fa notare."
