Agustin Barrios Music for Guitar Complete Recording: complete!

Dear friends and colleagues,

It is with great enthusiasm that I inform you that the “Agustin Barrios Music for Guitar Complete Recording” is complete.

109 tracks for 6 hours and 24 minutes of music in 6 CD. 2 years of works, 24 recording sessions between October 2008 and September 2010.

One idea that is realized with the aid of manuscripts submitted by researchers, kindness and helpfulness of contacts on the Internet and on Facebook, the patience of many, and my passion for music.

The full CD Set (6 CD) will be distributed from November 2010 by Brilliant Classics in over 40 countries; I hope you can appreciate the the work done around the interpretation and sound (not always  easy in the Barrios music).

The full tracklist will be available tomorrow (Sunday 26 September) in my website (http://www.cristianoporqueddu.com/). I can anticipate now that it will include for first time in a CD works like “Bicho Feo” (thanks, Tony Morris!), “Isabel” (thanks Richard Stover), “Leyenda Guaranì” (thanks Diosnel!) and other 3 or 4 almost-unknow works.

In Italy we say “another closed circle“ and there is no greater satisfaction in seeing an idea put into practice.

è con grande entusiasmo che vi comunico che la registrazione di “Agustin Barrios Music for Guitar Complete Recording” è completata.

109 tracce per 6 ore e 25 minuti di musica in 6 compact disc. 2 anni di lavoro divisi in 24 sessioni di registrazione tra Ottobre del 2008 e Settembre del 2010.

Un’idea realizzata con l’aiuto dei manoscritti messi a disposizione da ricercatori, la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei contatti su Internet e su Facebook, la pazienza di molti, la mia passione per la musica.

Il CD Set (6 CD) verrà distribuito dalla Brilliant Classics in oltre 40 paesi a partire dal mese di Novembre 2010. Spero proprio che apprezzerete il lavoro sull’originalità dell’interpretazione e sul suono (non sempre facile nella musica di Barrios.)

La tracklist completa verrà pubblicata domani (Domenica 26 Settembre 2010) sul mio sito internet (http://www.cristianoporqueddu.com/). Posso anticipare fin da ora che questa includerà opere come Bicho Feo (grazie a Tony Morris), Isabel (grazie a Richard Stover), Leyenda guaranì (grazieD Diosnel!) e altri tre o quattro brani semi-sconosciuti.

Un altro cerchio chiuso, come si suol dire, e non c’è più grande soddisfazione nel vedere una propria idea prendere vita.
