AMD annuncia la FirePro S10000 Dual GPU Tahiti da 1TFLOPS

AMD per contrastare nVidia nel repatro HCP (High-Performance Computing) ha presentato la scheda video server FirePro S10000. 

Questa nuova soluzione è la prima sul mercato a  superare 1 TFLOPS in double-precision floating-point, ed è in grado di raggiunge  un picco di 1,48 TFLOPS e 5,91 TFLOPS in single-precision floating-point. Grazie a queste prestazioni è ottima anche in ambito Virtual Desktop  Infrastructure (VDI) e per le workstation grafiche ad alte prestazioni.

La scheda è dotata di due GPU Tahiti con 3584 Stream Processor equipaggiati da 6GB di memoria GDDR5. Per quanto riguarda le frequenze sono di 825MHz per le GPU e 6GHZ per le memoria con un bus da 384 bit e una larghezza di banda di 480 GB/s per un  TDP da 375 Watt. Ecco le specifiche teniche:
