Architettura e arte: Frankie Morello fashion show

Come spesso ricordato in questo blog la moda è un insieme di arti, è il risultato di un processo creativo complesso ed affascinante che spesso resta un mistero. Durante la settimana della moda milanese diverse griffe hanno ricordato come il sistema del fashion si interseca con altre discipline. Alla sfilata di Frankie Morello l'ispirazione nasce stavolta dall'architettura e più precisamente dalla passione per  quest'ultima da parte di Pierfrancesco Gigliotti, uno dei due designer  della Griffe. Gli abiti diventano edifici dove il corpo e l'anima sono racchiusi. Gli outfit mutano in storia dell'architettura da rileggere e reinterpretare: i mattoni rossi delle case del West Village diventano fantasie gobelin, i materiali come il marmo ed il legno assumono la conformazione di stampe sui tessuti e sugli accessori. Gli spazi creativi della Griffe si tatuano sui tessuti come pagine di riviste d'interni. Fa da cornice alla sfilata una sala intrisa di fascino con statue giganti dallo stile etnico e una musica solenne accentua un' atmosfera atemporale.   Architecture and Art: Frankie Morello’s fashion show
As is often reminded in this blog, fashion is a set of arts and the result of a complex and fascinating creative process that often remains a mystery. During the Milan Fashion Week different brands have recalled us how the fashion system intersects with other disciplines. At the Frankie Morello’s fashion show this time the inspiration comes from architecture and more specifically from the passion for it shown by Pierfrancesco Gigliotti, one of the two designers of the brand. The clothes become buildings where body and soul are contained. The outfits change in the history of architecture, that must be read back and reinterpreted: the red brick houses in the West Village become gobelin fantasies, materials such as marble and wood take on the shape of prints on fabrics and accessories. The creative spaces of the Griffe become a tatoo on tissue like the pages of interior magazines. A full of charm lounge with giant and ethnic statues frame the show and a solemn music accentuates a timeless atmosphere.            Si viaggia con la mente durante il defilé e ci si accorge che il duo Gigliotti & Modica sceglie di essere parte integrante della propria creazione, sfila con i modelli e fa riflettere, come spesso accade durante le sue sfilate: vestire non è solo coprirsi, è un atto intellettuale, di studio e ricerca. A percorrere la passerella una guest star di eccezione: Fabio Novembre, uomo simbolo della collezione che con le sue opere ha creato un connubio tra arte, architettura e design. “Abitare l'abito”stavolta non è inteso in maniera letterale, ma assume un significato più trascendentale: appropriarsi delle radici culturali essenziali per la storia dell'uomo. During the fashion show you travel with your mind and you find that the duo Gigliotti & Modica choose to be part of its creation, they show together with the models and make you think, as often happens during their shows: the act of dressing is not just cover yourself, is an act of intellect, of study and research. The guest star Fabio Novembre goes through the catwalk , a man symbol of the collection who has created a marriage between art, architecture and design with his works. “Living the dress” this time doesn’tbe understood in a literal way, but assumes a transcendental meaning: possession of the cultural roots that are essential for human history.
