Arrow: nuovi arrivi nel cast, dettagli sulla stagione 2

Con un comunicato ufficiale diffuso durante la San Diego Comic-Con sono state annunciate novità sulla seconda stagione di Arrow, il serial basato sull’eroe DC Comics interpretato da Stephen Amell. Ad aggiungersi al cast  infatti sono gli attori Michael Jai White e Kevin Alejandro, i quali interpreteranno i ruoli rispettivamente di Bronze Tiger e  Sebastian Blood.

Nei fumetti DC, Bronze Tiger è un assassino nonchè membro della Lega degli Assassini oltre che della Suicide Squad, mentre Sebastian Blood prende ispirazione da Fratello Sangue, una delle principali nemesi dei Teen Titans. Nella serie televisiva Bronze Tiger stringerà alleanza con China (Kelly Hu) mentre Sebastian sarà un consigliere comunale che sale al potere in seguito al terremoto che ha devastato Starling City nel finale della prima stagione La sua estrema popolarità lo pone immediatamente in contrasto con Oliver Queen, la cui famiglia viene incolpata per il terremoto.

Durante la presentazione alla Comic-Con, inoltre, sono stati rivelati alcuni dettagli circa la trama della seconda stagione, che dovrebbe vedere Oliver Queen lasciare Starling City in seguito agli eventi scaturiti nel finale della precedente, e lasciando così spazio al personaggio di Roy Harper (Colton Haynes)  e all’apparizione di un nuovo vigilante fino al ritorno dell’arciere. A questo proposito, è stato indicato che nella seconda stagione l’eroe possa finalmente prendere il nome definitivo di Freccia Verde.
