Come volevasi dimostrare. Sono trascorsi appena due mesi e l’effetto “Aylan” è già passato. L’ondata di commozione che ha investito l’Europa e il mondo, per la pubblicazione delle foto del bambino siriano morto sulla spiaggia, si è ritirata: la Germania torna a chiudere le frontiere (trattato di Dublino ecc.), idem la Slovenia, per non parlare dell’irremovibile Ungheria. I profughi siriani adesso trovano le porte chiuse e chissà quanto dovranno aspettare prima di riuscire ad entrare. Forse avranno bisogno di un’altra morte strappalacrime… Se tanto mi dà tanto, almeno quelli che da sempre hanno detto no ai profughi, come da noi i leghisti o i post-fascisti, si sono dimostrati sempre coerenti, non hanno battuto ciglio nemmeno di fronte alle immagini del bimbo di tre anni morto sulla spiaggia. Gli altri, ondivaghi, approfittano dell’attimo straziante per esibirsi e puntare il dito contro gli insensibili, rei di voltarsi dall’altra parte. Adesso, questi sepolcri imbiancati, dove sono?

QED. After just two months and the effect “Aylan” has already passed. The wave of emotion that hit Europe and the world, for the publication of photos of dead Syrian children on the beach, withdrew: Germany closes the borders again (the Dublin Regulation and so on), ditto Slovenia, not to mention the inflexible Hungary. The Syrian refugees now find closed doors and who knows what will have to wait before they’re being able to enter. Perhaps they will need another heartbreaking death… If this is the result, at least those who have always said no to refugees, as our Italian “leghisti” or post-fascists, were increasingly consistent and did not flinch even before the images of the 3 yo child dead on the beach. The other, wavering, taking advantage of the harrowing moment to perform and point the finger at the insensitive, guilty of looking the other way. Now, these whitewashed tombs, where are they?
