After Japan and Scandinavia, Italia Independent chooses Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Territories as a scenario for Spring/Summer 2012 video campaign, presented on the evening of March 12, 2012 in Via Pestozzi 4, Milan. From Eilat to Petra, from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, passing through Bethlehem and crossing the Negev desert with its red stone mountains, descending to the Dead Sea and plunging into the Red Sea, kilometres of desert interspersed by city where ultra-modern buildings stand next to ancient ones, which are thousands of years old, red mountains that fall sheer to the turquoise sea, palm trees and mountains again to the horizon: this was the journey made by Italia Independent through Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Territories. The co-existence of tradition and innovation with respect for the different cultures is one of the peculiarities of these places. In this way the Spring-Summer 2012 clothing collection, characterized by vivid, full and brilliant colours, fits into the hectic Tel Aviv; mirrored sunglasses shimmer on the face of a Bedouin in Petra; the keffiyeh, reinterpreted with the Italian flag colours, dances with a ballerina on the seashore. All of the products of Italia Independent world appear in the video: clothing, shoes, eyeglasses and sunglasses, helmets and the numerous collaborations that characterize I-I, such as those born of partnership with the Borsalino brand, the “Buckless” belts created with Orciani and the sneakers made together with Vans. The music, created for the occasion by Will Buckley, accompanies the viewer in the discovery of I-I’s world.Dopo Giappone e Scandinavia, Italia Independent sceglie Israele, Giordania e Territori Palestinesi come scenario del video per la Primavera-Estate 2012, presentato nella serata del 12 marzo 2012, in via Pestalozzi 4, Milano. Da Eilat a Petra, da Tel Aviv a Gerusalemme, passando per Betlemme e attraversando il deserto del Negev con le sue montagne di pietra rossa, scendendo fino al Mar Morto e immergendosi nel Mar Rosso, chilometri di deserto intervallati da città dove palazzi modernissimi sorgono a fianco di edifici antichi migliaia di anni, montagne rosse che cadono a picco sul mare turchese, palme e ancora montagne all’orizzonte: questo è stato il viaggio di Italia Independent attraverso Israele, Giordania e Territori Palestinesi. Un conubio insolito in queste terre, quello tra tradizione e innovazione che poggia su un mix di religione storia e cultura. Così la collezione abbigliamento Primavera-Estate 2012, contraddistinta da colori vivaci, pieni e brillanti, si inserisce nella frenetica Tel Aviv; gli occhiali specchiati brillano sul volto di un beduino a Petra; la kefiah reinterpretata con i colori della nostra bandiera, danza assieme ad una ballerina in riva al mare. Nel video compaiono tutti i prodotti del mondo Italia Independent: abbigliamento, scarpe, occhiali da vista e da sole, caschi e le numerose collaborazioni che caratterizzano I-I, come i Borsalino nati dalla partnership con l’omonimo brand, le cinture “Buckless” create con Orciani, le sneaker realizzare assieme a Vans. La musica, creata ad hoc da Will Buckley (direttore creativo de "L'orchestra", DJ e Fondatore del Secret Sunday londinese), accompagna lo spettatore alla scoperta del mondo I-I.
