Il comun denominatore della moda mare di quest'anno è, liberamente interpretata, la moda anni '50, con costumi molto colorati e con fantasie a pois, quadretti, righe oppure con decorazioni floreali delicate, nei toni pastello.
Il vantaggio di questi modelli è che, oltre ad essere molto eleganti, si adattano bene a molte tipologie di fisici, anche a quelli più abbondanti.
I costumi interi, nella maggior parte dei modelli perdono le spalline e si arricchiscono di volant e decorazioni romantiche, per portare classe ed eleganza anche in spiaggia; molti modelli sono proposti in tinta unita, per non appesantire eccessivamente le linee e ciò li rende adatti anche ai fisici più rotondi, mentre i modelli fantasia sono consigliati per chi ha un fisico più filiforme e tonico.
