Black and white shoes

L'anno appena trascorso ci ha portato, tra le altre cose, una massiccia dose di trend rispolverati dal passato. Abbiamo assistito al ritorno delle frange su abiti e accessori, degli zainetti, dei pantaloni a zampa d'elefante bootcut, delle gonne longuette a ruota (le adoro!), delle salopette (adoro pure queste), del tartan, del pied de poul...delle scarpe bicolori.Queste ultime hanno origini molto lontane: pare che il vero e proprio boom lo abbiano avuto negli anni Venti per poi tornare ancora e ancora, anche in versione femminile. Ma bando alle chiacchiere: quando ho iniziato a vederle in giro mi hanno molto incuriosito. Ho pensato che fossero perfette per dare carattere a qualsiasi look, anche il più anonimo. E così, qualche mese di ricerca più tardi, ecco che vi mostro le mie nuove scarpine bianche e nere, trovate sotto l'albero di Natale.
The past year has brought us, among other things, a massive dose of trend dusted off from the past. We have seen the return of the fringes on clothes and accessories, backpacks, bootcut pants, longuette skirts (love them!), overalls (I love these as well), tartan, pied de poule... bicolored shoes.These shoes have very remote origins. It seems that they have had the boom in the twenties and then go back again and again, even in the female version. Stop talking: when I started to see these in the stores I was very intrigued. I thought they were perfect to give character to any look, even the most anonymous. And so, a few months of research later, here I show you my new black and white shoes, found under my Christmas tree.
Sono scarpe davvero comode, di una pelle morbidissima, impreziosite da tante piccole borchiette. Inutile dire che, come altre delle calzature che possiedo, non hanno incontrato il gusto di tutti ma io - sebbene mi facciano somigliare a Tiger Woods - le adoro!!
These shoes are really comfortable, made of soft leather, embellished with many small studs. Needless to say, like other of my shoes, have not met the approval of  my friends and family but  - although they make me look like Tiger Woods - I love them !!




La borsa è un'altra new entry, anch'essa portata da Babbo Natale. Certo, si sporca solo a guardarla ma non trovate che sia comunque deliziosa in bianco?
The bag is another new entry, also a gift to me from Santa.
Sure, it gets dirty just looking at it but you do not find that it is anyway pretty in white?

Chiedo venia se non vi ho mostrato il resto del look ma sono sicura che il mio naso rosso e la mia espressione mezza congelata parlino per me. Spero che abbiate passato buone feste e vi auguro che il 2015 possa portare nelle vostre vite serenità, amore e un pizzico di fortuna, che non guasta mai!
