black, gold and denim

Di solito quando pensiamo al denim ci viene subito in mente il caro vecchio blue jeans, un capo che certamente è comodo e pratico, ci accompagna tutti i giorni e nelle più diverse occasioni, magari anche sotto forma di giacca, shorts o gonna, ma che tutto sommato tanto glamour non è...
Bè questo editoriale l'ho scelto proprio perchè dimostra l'esatto contrario: i pezzi in denim sono tutti abbastanza comuni, l'unica eccezione potrebbe essere il colore (in nero stone washed anzichè il classico blu), e sono accompagnati da capi altrettanto semplici, tuttavia il risultato è sorprendentemente glam e spiritoso!
Ed il merito va più che altro al sapiente uso di make up ed accessori: basta questo a sottolineare la duttilità di questo tessuto e la sua facilità ad adattarsi a qualsiasi stile che ne hanno decretato il successo!
Usually when we think about denim comes immediately to mind the good old blue jeans, a garment who certainly is comfortable and practical, is with us every day and in different occasions, maybe in the form of a jacket, skirt or shorts, but that not looks so glamorous after all ... Well the editorial I have chosen today shows the opposite: the denim pieces are all fairly common, the only exception might be the color (stone washed black instead of the classic blue), and are accompanied by equally simple garments, but the result is surprisingly funny and glam! Credit goes mostly to the wise use of make up and accessories: is this enough to emphasize the versatility of this fabric that is so easy to adapt to any style that have made it so successful!
