Brighton Fashion Week 2012 - The Ready to Wear Shows Day 1. The collections

After a day break from the amazing Frocks Show and Zeitgeist Show with The Photocopy Club exhibition, Brighton Fashion Week continued with The Ready to Wear Shows: a 2 days interactive event at The Brighton Corn Exchange that gets together catwalk shows and the opportunitty to shop around. In this post I'll be covering some of the collection that, as usual, caught my stylist eye and then make rounded report both on Fashion News Magazine (Italy) and Sussex Style Magazine (Uk). I'll also tell you more about the shopping experience and the stalls in another post.
 Dopo un giorno di pausa dai favolosi Frocks Show e Zeitgeist Show con la mostra The Photocopy Club, Brighton Fashion Week continua con i  Ready To Wear Show: un evento interattivo di 2 giorni al Brighton Corn Exchange che unissce sfilate e l'opportunita' di fare shopping. In questo post vi mostro calcune collezione che, come al solito, hanno colpito il mio occhio da stylist e poi report piu' completi su Fashion News Magazine (Italy) and Sussex Style Magazine (Uk). Vi ditro' anche degli stand e la shoping experience in un prossimo post.

TRAMP BOUTIQUE
The Diamond Jubilee celebration were a loose ispiration for the Tramp Boutique show, a vintage boutique based in Brighton in the North Laines area that source and select garments from the '20 up to the '90.  The looks on the show where Union Jack color coded and what I really like about them was the versatile quality of them. Infact depending on the way to style and accessorise them. they can be either vintage/retro looking or utterly modern and contemporary.
I festeggiamenti del Diamon Jubilee hanno fatto da ispirazione per lo show della Tramp Boutique, una boutique vintage in Brighton nella zona delle North Laines che offre una selezione di abiti dagli anni '20 ai '90. I look dello show hanno seguito i colori della Union Jack e cio' che ho particolarmente apprezzato e' la versatilita' degli outfit. Infatti a secnda di come si fa lo styling e degli accessori che si scelgono. posso avere sia una patina retro/vintage oppure essere moderni e contemporanei.






AILSA
I'll use Ailsa Rollo words to describe her designs 'sexy and comfortable'. Indeed they are. She's a New Zealand born-enthusiastic Brighton lover/resident designer and her graments have the great quality of being bold, femminine and the fluid shapes and drapes of the dress are flattering for any body shape. Her designs are available in selected Brighton boutiques.
Uso le parole della stessa Ailsa Rollo per descrivere le sue creazioni 'sexy e comode'. Lo sono veramente. Stilista nata in Nuova Zelanda ma convintissima amante/residente di Brighton, i suoi capi hanno la peculiarita' di essere vistosi, femminili e le forme fluide ed i drappeggi donano ad ogni conformazione fisica. I suoi capi sono disponibili in boutique selezionate di Brighton.


 
JOEY BEVAN
Joey Bevan presented a great collection of Victorian/Tim Burton themed dresses made with reclycled unwanted garments as part of his SS12 collection Land of the Lost Toys. The strenght of the dresses is in the precise and excellent costruction and use of materials. A really active, extrovert and multi tasking designer - he hosted the RTW show and he does styling and hairdressing as well - involved in the two latest series of Britain and Ireland Next Top Model Live. 
Joey Bevan ha presentato un'ottima collezione di abiti ispirati a Tim Burton/epoca vittoriana con materiali riciclati da altri abiti come parte della della sua collezione SS12 Land of the Lost Toys. La forza dei suoi abiti sta nella precisa ed eccente costuzione dei capi e nell'accostamento  dei materiali. Un designer attivissimo, estroverso e mutitasking - ha presentato e introdotto i RTW shows e fa styling e hairdressing -coinvolto anche nelle ultime due edizioni di Britain and Ireland Next Top Model Live.
