Stephen Stills è nato a Dallas (USA) il 3 gennaio 1945 ed è un cantautore e chitarrista, membro storico dei Buffalo Springfield e del supergruppo Crosby, Stills, Nash &Young.
Con delle ottime conoscenze della musica folk blues e latina, ha scritto brani rimasti nella storia del rock e del folk, facendo grandi collaborazioni con musicisti come Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix e molti altri!
