E 'ufficiale: le mantelle sono i nuovi cappotti.

Dopo il boom dello scorso anno dei poncho-coperta, grazie soprattutto all’ambitissima mantella col monogrammadi Burberry Prorsum che ha scatenatouna vera a propria mania tra trend setter e fashion victims, cappe e mantelle sembrano pian piano voler prendere sempre di più il posto delle giacchetradizionali durante la stagione fredda.
E le passerelle non fanno che confermare di anno in anno questa tendenza, mostrandosempre più spesso mantelle come capospalla, proposte in diversi modelli, stampe, e tessuti.Gli stilisti le hanno abbinate con minidress neri, guanti da opera e stivali al ginocchio per un look sofisticato e modaiolo o si sono ispirati agli anni '70 con un rimescolando lo stile folk con cappotti e mantelledi ispirazione vagamente militare, o infine le hanno presentate corte e soffici oppure lunghe ed eleganti per accompagnareabiti da sera con stampe matchy - matchy.

It's official: Capes are the new jackets. 

After last year's boom in blanket ponchos, thanks to Christopher Bailey's coveted monogrammed Burberry Prorsum piece that sparked a movement among the fashion set, traditional jackets have been given the cold shoulder. Case in point: Designers have dialed up the drama on the fall/winter 2015-16 shows during Paris Fashion Week, eschewing jackets in favor for cool capes in varying silhouettes, prints, and textiles.
With textured black shift, designers adding a higher degree of flair with a feathery topper, a theatrical hooded black cape, complete with black leather opera-length gloves and knee-high boots or turned to the '70s for inspiration with a folksy line-up toughened up with military-inspired coats and capes, or even fluffy cropped capes served as the perfect companion to eveningwear with prints that swirled from the hooded piece to the gown.
