Carnival in venice

Finalmente, dopo aver visto le centinaia di foto che ho scattato, eccoci ai post sul mio viaggio a Venezia!
Come saprete sono stata a Venezia per il Carnevale (anche se in realtà poi ho visitato anche Verona e Padova), e devo ammettere che mi ha detto proprio bene: nonostante il diluvio di questo week end (che ho (di nuovo, fortunatamente) evitato spostandomi a Verona), ho trovato sempre un tempo splendido, l'ideale per scattare foto e girare a piacimento!
E non c'era nemmento tanta gente! :D
Ero già stata al Carnevale di Venezia, ma sempre durante il week end, e ricordavo una folla paurosa, tanto che risultava abbastanza difficile riuscire ad avvicinarsi alle maschere per scattare le foto, senza contare la difficoltà di spostarsi ed il casino nei bar e nei ristornati...insomma, bello era bello non lo si può negare, ma alla fine anche parecchio stressante!
Invece per tutta la settimana, Giovedì grasso compreso, non c'è mai stata così tanta gente: certo i turisti c'erano ovviamente, ma più o meno come d'estate, niente di troppo fastidioso.
E mi sono divertita da matti! Venezia è una città meravigliosa in qualsiasi momento dell'anno ma a Carnevale è spettacolare!
Purtroppo le parole non bastano a rendere l'dea, ma vi assicuro che ha un'atmosfera tutta speciale in questo periodo, vale assolutamente la pena passarci qualche giorno! :D
Finally, after checked hundreds of photos, here I am with the posts about my trip to Venice !
As you know last week I was in Venice for Carnival (although I've visited even Verona and Padua) , and I must admit that I was very lucky: despite the deluge of this weekend (which I have (again, thankfully) avoided going in Verona ) , I have always found a splendid weather, ideal to take pictures and going around!
And there was not even so much tourists ! : D
I had been to the Carnival of Venice before, but always during the weekend, and I remembered a scary crowd, so that was reasonably difficult to get close to the masks for taking pictures , not to mention the difficulty of moving and mess in coffee shops and restaurants... well, it was still very nice, you can not deny , but even quite stressful!
Instead, throughout the week, including Jeudi Gras, there has never been so many people: there were some tourists of course, but more or less as in the summertime, nothing too annoying.
And I had fun as hell ! Venice is a wonderful city any time of year but during Carnival is just spectacular!
Unfortunately, words are not enough to give well the idea, but there is a very special feel during this time, I assure you it is absolutely worth it spend a few days there! : D
