Checks: plaid for summer

Ammetto che il quadrettato bicolor inizialmente non mi convinceva molto, mi sembrava troppo appariscente e tutto sommato poco adatto a qualsiasi situazione, ma mi sono dovuta ricredere, è bastato un top smanicato a quadretti bianchi verdi per farmi cambiare idea: me ne sono letteralmente innamorata a prima vista!
Però, come mi capita spesso quando mi innamoro di una tendenza, ho continuato ad indossare gli scacchi finchè non mi sono venuti a noia, tanto che adesso mi hanno piuttosto stufata...e non ho fatto nemmeno in tempo a fare un post a tema!^^
E così sono passata ad altre varianti  della fantasia a quadri: l'abito che mi vedete indossare nelle foto è una delle mie ultime creazioni.
Quella fantasia mi è piaciuta subito quando l'ho vista sul tessuto in negozio, e, anche se è la prima volta che indosso una stampa plaid in estate, non mi è sembrata inadeguata, sarà perchè è un cotone morbido e leggerissimo, sarà per i colori, ma devo dire che sono rimasta molto soddisfatta del risultato! Voi che ne dite? :)
I have to say that initially the checked bicolor print didn't convinced me so much, it seemed too flashy and all considered ill-suited to any situation
But I had to change my mind after i took sleeveless white and green checkered top: it was really love at first sight!
But, as often happens to me when I fall in love with a trend, I continued to wear chess print until it bored me, so much so that now I'm quite sick of it ... and I did not almost had time to make a post on this topic ^ ^
So I went to other variants of the check pattern: the dress that you see me wearing in the picture is one of my latest creations.
I loved that pattern as I saw it on the fabric in the store, and, even if it is the first time I'm wearing a plaid print in the summer, it did not seem so inadequate, maybe it's because it is a soft, lightweight cotton, maybe it's for colors, but I have to say that I was very pleased with the result! What do you say? :)
