Come si indossa il rossetto rosso – How to wear red lipstick

E’ uscito in questi giorni il nuovo numero della rivista ‘La pelle Beauty’ specializzata in estetica e distribuita in più di 25.000 centri estetici di tutta Italia. In questo numero parlo di come applicare e scegliere un’icona del make up: il rossetto rosso!!!

E’ un argomento che ho affrontato molto volentieri perchè è il grande protagonista della storia del trucco, della donna e della seduzione.

Come si indossa il rosso sulle labbra

Cosa c’è di più sensuale di una donna che indossa un rossetto rosso? Già Cleopatra, icona storica di seduzione fatale, lo utilizzava, anche se all’epoca il materiale per colorare di rosso le labbra si otteneva da scarafaggi e formiche schiacciate. Ancor prima in Mesopotamia, 5000 anni fa, il rosso per abbellire la bocca si otteneva polverizzando pietre preziose. Una tradizione millenaria quella del rosso, insomma, che però oggi sembra essere in disuso. Il motivo di fondo dell’abbandono di questo colore, va ricercato nella difficoltà dell’applicazione e della sua gestione e nella mancanza di tempo da dedicare alla sua applicazione.

Un rossetto rosso deve infatti essere applicato alla perfezione, completato con un trucco adatto, adornato da una acconciatura curata, corredato di accessori e vestiti in tono e, non da ultimo, va saputo portare. In altre parole, il protagonista è il colore, la semplicità e l’essenzialità di tutta la cornice non farà che enfatizzarne al massimo il fascino. Al contrario eccedere può, inevitabilmente, risultare volgare.

Eppure, nonostante tutte le difficoltà, “vestire le labbra di rosso” può essere il sogno proibito di molte donne perché può rappresentare un simbolo, ricordare una leggenda, in una sola parola serve a “comunicare”. Senza contare che il rosso è un colore che non passa mai di moda, riportando alla luce istinti profondi e sentimenti come la passione. Dobbiamo quindi fare un uso consapevole di questo colore, che non va mai applicato a caso, e capire che un rosso tra Hollywood e Geisha, non è adatto a tutte.

Una donna timida non potrà mai portarlo perché altrimenti avrà addosso l’attenzione di tutti coloro che la circondano, uomini e donne, facendola probabilmente sentire goffa e spaurita, in luogo della disinvoltura che tale colore merita. In questi casi l’alternativa è scegliere tra le infinite nuances del rosso, più o meno calde, più o meno luminose, più o meno intense. La saturazione, lo stato di purezza assoluta del colore, è quella che dà queste variabili e opportunità. Possiamo noi stessi crearne di nuove mescolando più rossetti tra loro, o alleggerendone la pigmentazione diluendoli con gloss trasparenti o balsami per labbra, soprattutto per delle soluzioni più light e da giorno.

Ma come si sceglie il rosso migliore per una donna? Per donne con pelle dalla tonalità fredda, chiarissima, capelli e occhi chiari, il colore che consiglio è un rosso acceso, con un tocco di blu al suo interno, quindi rosso carminio, geranio, fucsia, rosso laccato, rosso Valentino o Ferrari; mentre per le donne che hanno in prevalenza toni caldi, sia per quanto riguarda il colore della pelle che di capelli e occhi, vedo meglio un rosso con una punta di giallo o marrone al suo interno, come il corallo e il salmone.

Le donne con i capelli rossi, invece, meritano un discorso a parte in quanto la scelta della tonalità di rosso dipende dal tono del colore dei capelli che può andare dal carota per le rosse naturali, fino al rame o prugna per le tinte. Per le prime opterei per un rosso aranciato, leggermente mattone o dorato/bronzeo; per le rosse prugna la cosa migliore è avvicinarsi il più possibile al colore dei capelli, quindi un rosso con un tocco di viola. Il bordeaux, o la variante chiamata “rosso Cartier”, ma anche la tonalità leggermente più scura, generalmente stanno bene a tutte e quindi la consiglio a chiunque ma in particolar modo a quelle donne che non hanno i denti bianchissimi.

In caso invece di rughette sulla zona delle labbra, ovviamente, credo che la scelta migliore sia quella di rinunciare a un rossetto che focalizzi l’attenzione su questa parte del corpo.

Per quanto riguarda bocche fine o piccole, il colore intenso può permetterci di modificarne con più facilità le dimensioni, ovviamente senza esagerare. Un buon suggerimento può essere quello di giocare con i chiaroscuri, applicando al centro delle labbra un rosso più chiaro e donare così un effetto volumizzante. Ecco come. Per prima cosa preparate una base e fissatela con la cipria trasparente. Procedete poi disegnando il contorno con una matita rossa di colore simile al rossetto che andrete ad applicare, non troppo morbida e ben appuntita. Tenete la matita inclinata, con la parte più bassa dal lato interno del labbro, sia per essere più precise nella linea esterna, che per sfumare leggermente nella parte interna e non avere un contorno troppo netto e difficile da sfumare col rossetto che, andando via, porterebbe alla luce questa linea innaturale.

Per decidere la forma della bocca da realizzare, osservate con attenzione le labbra della cliente. In caso di una perfetta forma di base, potete optare tra seguirla oppure fare delle leggerissime varianti debordando o restando più all’interno di frazioni di millimetro in alcuni punti. Segnate dei primi tratteggi nei punti fondamentali, l’interno delle punte del labbro superiore, la base del labbro inferiore e gli angoli. Proseguite poi unendo, a piccoli tratteggi, i punti segnati. In questa maniera non si rischia di finire il lavoro in maniera asimmetrica. Se l’applicate a voi stesse, controllate sempre il lavoro, anche in fase di esecuzione, allo specchio. In quanto bidimensionale, infatti, farà notare meglio eventuali imperfezioni e deviazioni dalla linea che volete seguire. Passate a questo punto una mano di rossetto servendovi di un pennellino apposito. A fine applicazione potete scegliere di tenere così le labbra, oppure, per un effetto a lunga tenuta di fissare il rossetto. Per farlo tamponate le labbra con una velina, appoggiandola o “baciandola”, e con un pennello passate della cipria trasparente, in maniera da fissare il pigmento togliendo un pò di parte grassa. Potete all’occorrenza anche passare una seconda volta il colore. Grazie a questa operazione il rossetto durerà a lungo e non sbaverà, oltre a raggiungere un colore più intenso. Un’altra opzione più glamour, consigliata soprattutto alle più giovani, è di passare un velo di gloss.

Consiglio di abbinare uno smalto dello stesso colore su mani e piedi, per un tocco di stile che completa una immagine raffinata e sofisticata al tempo stesso. Ora gli occhi di tutti saranno sulle vostre labbra, e non vi resta che sorridere.

It ‘s a topic that I have written with pleasure because the red lipstick  is the main protagonist in the history of makeup, the woman and seduction.

How do you wear red lips

What’s more sensual than a woman wearing a red lipstick? Even Cleopatra, historical icon of fatal seduction, used it, though at the time the material to color with red lips was obtained from crushed beetles and ants. Earlier in Mesopotamia, 5000 years ago, the grace the red mouth was obtained by pulverizing precious stones. An age-old tradition of the red, in short, but now seems to be abandoned. The reason of the abandonment of this color, lies in the difficulty of eaplly it and its management and lack of time to devote to its application.

A red lipstick should in fact be applied in a perfect manner, completed with a suitable make-up adorned with a hair care, with accessories and clothes in tone and, not least, it should be able to bring. In other words, the protagonist is the color, the ease and simplicity of the whole frame will only emphasize the most charm. On the contrary may exceed inevitably and be vulgar.

Yet, despite all the difficulties, “the lips  with a red dress” may be the secret dream of many women because it can represent a symbol, to remember a legend, in one word is used to “communicate”. It’s important to mention that red is a color that never goes out of fashion, bringing to light deep instincts and feelings of passion. We must therefore make a conscious use of this color, which should never be applied randomly, and understand that a red Geisha or a Hollywood ones is not suitable for all.

A shy woman can never take it because otherwise you put the attention of all those around her, men and women, making it probably felt awkward and frightened, in place of color such ease that it deserves. In these cases the alternative is to choose among the infinite shades of red, more or less hot, more or less bright, more or less intense. The saturation state of absolute purity of color, is what gives these variables and opportunities. We ourselves can create new lipsticks mixing some together, or lighten pigmentation diluting them with clear gloss or lip balms, especially for solutions of light and day.

How to choose the best red for a woman? For women with skin tones with the cool, clear, light eyes and hair, the color that I advice is bright red with a touch of blue in it, then crimson, geranium, fuchsia, red lacquer, red Valentino,  Ferrari ; while for women who have mostly warm tones, both with regard to skin color of hair and eyes, I see more nice choose a red with a tinge of yellow or brown in it, such as coral and salmon.

Women with red hair, however, deserve a separate discussion since the choice of the shade of red depends on the tone of the hair color that can range from natural carrot for the red, until the copper to plum shades. For the first opt for a red, brick or slightly golden / bronze, red plum for the best thing is to get as close as possible to the hair color, then red with a touch of purple. The burgundy, or the variant called “red Cartier, but also slightly darker hue, they are generally good at all, and then recommend it to anyone but especially to those women who do not have white teeth.

If  you have wrinkles on the lip area,  I think the best option is to give up a lipstick that focuses attention on this part of the body. With regard to end vents or small, intense color can afford to change the size more easily, without exaggeration, of course. A good suggestion is to play with light and dark, the center of the lips using a red lighter and give it a volumizing effect. Here’s how: First prepare a base and fix it with transparent powder. Then proceed by drawing the outline with a red pencil of similar color to the lipstick that you are going to apply, not too soft and very pointed. Hold the pencil angle,  draw from the outside of the lower lip to the inside, both to be more precise in the trunk, that to soften slightly on the inside and not having an edge too sharp and difficult to blend with lipstick, leaving, would establish this line unnatural.

In deciding the shape of the mouth to make, look carefully the lips of the customer. In the case of a perfect form of base, you can follow it or you can choose between the remaining slight variations overflowing or more within fractions of a millimeter in some places. Mark key points in the first hatch, the interior of the tips of the upper lip, the base of the lower lip and corners. Continue adding, small hatches, the points scored. Be carefull that the job were done symmetrically. Always check the work, even at run time, the mirror. As the two-dimensional, in fact, will do better out any imperfections and deviations from the line you want to follow. Turn to this point a coat of lipstick using a brush. At the end of the application  you can choose to keep the lips in this manner, or for a long lasting effect, to set the lipstick. To do so dab lips with a tissue, resting or “kissing”, and with a transparent face powder brush past, so the pigment to be fixed by removing some of the fat. You can also pass a second time if necessary. With this operation, the lipstick will last longer and not go on the skin, while achieving a more intense color. Another option is the most glamorous, recommended especially for younger people, is to apply a light gloss.

Council to match glaze the same color  on the hands and feet, for a touch of style that completes a refined and sophisticated image at the same time. Now all eyes will be on your lips, and you have only to smile.
