Non un vero post oggi, ma solo una piccola nota ad uno degli ultimi cambiamenti che troverete sul blog: ho aggiunto a lato un utile convertitore, suggerito da Shiva, Kitchen and Cheat Sheet.

Facilissimo da usare sono sicura che piacerà soprattutto ai nostri amici dall’estero perchè le dosi (sempre molto approssimative, lo so!

) le do sempre usando il nostro sistema metrico decimale. Ma sono certa che sarà utile anche per voi. A me capita spesso di girovagare per il web o leggere i libri di food che compro in giro per il mondo e, quando è ora di replicare le ricette, la conversione con cups, spoons e chi più ne ha ne metta è sempre complicata. 

Ah, dimenticavo, ci sono anche un altro po’ di utili indicazioni sui tempi di cottura, sui tagli delle carni, sulle temperature di conservazione dei cibi, insomma, secondo me un utile vademecum per tutti quelli che amano bazzicare in cucina come me.

Not a real post today, just a small note to one of the latest changes that you will find on the blog: I added to the side bar, as suggested by Shiva, a useful converter Kitchen and Cheat Sheet.

It is easy to use and I’m sure that our friends from abroad will particularly appreciate it as I always use the European standards.

But I’m sure it will be helpful for all the other too. I often navigate the web or read food books bought around the world, and when it is time to replicate the recipes, conversion with cups, spoons and so on and so is always tricky.

Oh, I forgot, there are also useful information on cooking times, cuts of meat, the temperature for food conservation. In short, a great handbook for all those who, like me, love to hang out in the kitchen.
