Crochet Tutorial: La catenella rovesciata (rvcat.) - The reversed chain (rvch.)

La catenella rovesciata (abbr.: rvcat.) è un punto che va utilizzato quando si eseguono lavori all'uncinetto che prevedono l'impiego di punti quali:
-la retro-maglia bassissima
-la retro-maglia bassa
-la maglia bassa rovesciata
The reversed chain (abbr.: rvch.) is a stitch that you can use when you work with the following stitches:
-the retro-slip stitch
-the retro-single crochet
-the reversed single crochet
Tali punti, per il modo in cui sono lavorati, hanno la caratteristica di cambiare la posizione del filo che scorre sull'uncinetto, facendolo passare da dietro a davanti: per evitare che il filo si attorcigli, è meglio usare la catenella rovesciata invece di quella "classica". L'ho chiamata "rovesciata" in quanto bisogna avvolgere il filo sull'uncinetto al contrario rispetto al metodo classico.
This stitches, for the method of working, have the property of changing the position of the thread that slides on the crochet hook, passing it from the back to the front; to prevent the thread from twisting, it's better to use the reversed chain instead of the "classic" chain. I called it "reversed" beacuse it needs to wrap the thread around the crochet hook in a reversed way respect to the classic method.

In quali casi conviene usare la catenella rovesciata?
1) Con la lavorazione in tondo: ha la funzione di catenella di alzata dopo aver chiuso il cerchio con una retro-maglia bassissima
2) Con la lavorazione per righe: ha la funzione di catenella di alzata dopo aver lavorato una riga costituita da retro-maglie basse oppure da maglie basse rovesciate.
In wich cases it's recommended to use the reversed chain?
1) Working in rounds: the reversed chain it's used as a turning chain after closing the ring with a retro-slip stitch
2) Working in rows: it's used as a turning chain after working a row with the retro-single crochet or the reversed single crochet.

Nota: la catenella rovesciata può essere eseguita avolgendo il filo una volta sola intorno all'uncinetto e senza fare la rotazione dell'uncinetto a fine esecuzione; non ho scelto questo metodo poiché diventava difficile afferrare il filo con l'uncinetto e il filo stesso poteva sfilacciarsi facilmente. Per tali motivi, la seconda gittata di tutti i punti che ho ideato è eseguita come indicato nel video, cioè: avvolgendo due volte il filo intorno all'uncinetto, afferrando il filo con l'uncinetto, e ruotando lo stesso a fine lavorazione.
Note: the reversed chain can be worked wrapping the thread over the hook only one time and without making the rotation of the hook at the end; I've not choosen this method beacuse it was difficult grabbing the thread with the hook and the thread could easily unravel. For these reasons, the second wrap of the thread over the hook of all stitches I've created, is worked as shown in the video, that is: wrapping two times the thread over the hook, grabbing the thread, and making a rotation of the hook at the end of the work.
