The beautiful season seems to be arrived, although these days it is raining. It could be an opportunity to get lost among the calle and the narrow streets rich of  charm in Venice. A nice excursion on the gondola should complete  the pleasant visit to this beautiful city. Venice is an art city par excellence: outside and inside the magnificent palaces.

An exhibition that right now is definitely snatching the attention is devoted to Manet
"Manet Back in Venice" Palazzo Ducale until August 18, 2013
This exhibition is located  in the suggestive ducal palace: one more reason to go and visit it. The exhibition is devoted to a great artist of the French art. The exhibition will take approximately 80 works, including paintings, drawings and the etchings. Here you can observe the Spanish influence - by Velasquez and Goya - on the Manet’s paintings, but you can also see the influence of the Italian Renaissance on the Manet’s art. Thanks to this exhibition you will be able to understand how his painting was influenced  by the Venetian painting of the XVI century,  without excluding the influence of Florence and Rome.
There is an  accurate description that allows us to create - once again - a link between the Italian and foreign art, completing the vast and complex picture of the art history.

The Dalì Universe in Venice
If you are in Venice these days you can also visit the exhibition dedicated to Dali : these are the last days of the exhibition. It will be closed on May 1 for holidays, but I suggest you to call to have more info about the dates. In this exhibition dedicated to this eccentric but brilliant artist you find over 100 works. A look at the surrealism of Dali through his sculpture and the many illustrations that you can admire.

La stagione bella pare si stia avvicinando, benché la pioggia di questi giorni sembrerebbe affermare il perfetto contrario. Potrebbe essere un’occasione per perdersi per i vicoli e le calli veneziane che hanno sempre un fascino fuori dal tempo. Una simpatica gita in gondola coronerebbe la piacevole visita a questa splendida città. Venezia è una città d’arte per eccellenza: fuori e dentro i magnifici palazzi. In questo periodo potrete trovare delle mostre interessanti da visitare. Giusto un paio  di suggerimenti nell’ampia scelta che potete avere.
Una mostra che in questo momento sta sicuramente carpendo l’attenzione è quella dedicata  a Manet
"Manet Ritorno a Venezia" Palazzo Ducale fino al 18 agosto 2013 Nel suggestivo contesto di palazzo ducale questa mostra imperdibile su un grande personaggio dell’arte francese. La mostra avrà circa 80 opere tra dipinti, disegni e incisioni. In questa mostra si evidenzia l’influenza spagnola sulla pittura di questo artista da parte di Velasquez e Goya ma non si può sott’intendere anche l’influenza che ebbe il rinascimento italiano su Manet. Grazie  a questa mostra si riuscirà a  capire come la sua pittura fosse stata influenzata anche dalla pittura veneziana soprattutto del Cinquecento senza escludere l’influenza anche di Firenze e Roma. Una descrizione accurata che ci permette di creare ancora una volta un legame tra l’arte straniera e quella italiana , completando, pian piano l’ampio e complesso quadro della storia dell’arte.
