Dancing in September #4: Ere from Ere K.'s Beauty Shelf

Today I have another entry for my contest to share with you, mates. Please, take a seat under the kotatsu and enjoy a cup of green tea watching the nail art made by my friend and collegue, Ere from Ere K.'s Beauty Shelf. どーぞ, Ere-chan.
A inizio settembre Francine di The Happy Beauty Case ha indetto un nail art contest a tema musicale sul suo blog (trovate il regolamento qui). Ho deciso di partecipare non solo per l'appetitoso premio in palio, ma anche perché non conoscevo per nulla gli Earth, Wind & Fire né tantomeno la canzone September, e immaginare una nail art su qualcosa di nuovo è una sfida interessante.
The first day of September, Francine from The Happy Beauty Case blog started a nail art contest on her blog (here). I decided to entry the contest not only for the nice prize, but also because I didn't know Eart, Wind & Fire nor the song September, so starting a nail art from something that was completly new to me was sort of challenging.


Per la mia nail art mi sono ispirata alla sgargiantissima veste che il lead singer indossa nel video perché i suoi colori fanno tanto autunno, ocra e marrone soprattutto.Ho utilizzato principalmente smalti Kiko: 368  Arancio Bruciato, 369 Ocra chiaro,  323 Cioccolato al latte (discontinuato), e China Glaze Snow, bianco d'ordinanza. Per le righe, che rappresentano parti diverse della maglia del cantante, ho usato questi striping brush* di Born Pretty store.

I was inspired bu the lead singer's outfit in the video: its colours are perfect for fall.I  used mainly polishes from Kiko: 368 Burnt orange, 369 light ochre, 323 Milk Chocolate (discontinued) and China Glaze Snow, my one and only white polish.
To do the stipes I used these striping brushes* from Born Pretty Store.

Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate, io intanto incrocio le dita!

Gli abiti degli Earth, Wind and Fire erano mooooolto eclettici e supponevo che vi avrebbero fornito una buona fonte di ispirazione. La canzone è un classicone fine anni '70 e sono contenta di sapere che abbia rappresentato una sfida (e le scorpioncine con le sfide ci vanno a nozze, vero?). Spero che anche la canzone ti sia piaciuta!!

Earth, Wind and Fire's outfit was very eclectic, a polychrome source of inspiration! This song is a classic from last 70's (1978, if I'm right) and I'm glad to know that it has been a challenge for you (because Scorpio ladies LOVE challenges, don't you agree?). I hope you liked the song too!
