Desigual Press Day A/W 2012-2013

Giovedì scorso sono stata invitata ad un press day davvero speciale, quello di Desigual. Dopo l'evento di inaugurazione del megastore di Corso Buenos Aires avvenuto in febbraio, ecco un'altra occasione per vedere da vicino e toccare con mano i capi di questo brand multicolor e multiexperience che mi piace tanto per la ventata di novità che ha portato nel mercato.
Last Thursday I was invited to a really special press day: the Desigual one. After the inaugural event of the megastore of Corso Buenos Aires in February, here is another chance to see up the leaders of this multicolor and multiexperience that I really like, expecially for the breath of fresh air that brought in market.
Di primo impatto la collezione autunno/inverno 2012-13 appare subito più "sobria" rispetto al Desigual a cui siamo abituati. La trovo sicuramente una scelta intelligente, che magari dagli estremisti del brand non sarà presa positivamente ma che invece porterà tante persone ancora titubanti sugli eccessi del marchio ad avvicinarsi ad esso e alla qualità dei suoi capi.
At first sight the Fall / Winter 2012-13 collection is more "sober" than the Desigual style we're used to. I think that it's definitely a smart choice, maybe the"extremist lovers" of the brand will not be taken positively, but many people still hesitant about the excesses of the brand, will surely get closer to it and appreciate the quality of its leaders.

Abiti con stampe che ricordano da vicino gli anni '70, capispalla dai colori vivaci come i nuovissimi e caldi piumini. Ancora una volta la collezione ispirata al Cirque du Soleil e quella designata da Christian Delacroix, splendida, con abitini e gonne davvero chic. Una vera novità l'introduzione di una collezione bimbi 0-6 mesi (che tenerezza le tutine mignon tutte colorate!) e di una linea per la casa composta da tovaglie, lenzuola, copripiumini, grembiuli e cuscini, sempre all'insegna delle fantasie e del patchwork Desigual.
Dresses with '70s style prints, jackets in bright colors also the new ones of the brand: the down jackets. Once again we can find the collection inspired by the Cirque du Soleil and the one designed by Christian Delacroix, with very beautiful and chic dresses and skirts. A real novelty is a collection for 0-6 months children (which tenderness all the mignon and coloured rompers!) and a House Line consisting of towels, sheets, duvet covers, aprons, pillows, always with the Desigual fantasies and patchworks.

Here I am in this picture with Bimbi Distefano of Dotgirl blog, while we are showing to Marcella Milani photographer our favourite leaders of the new collection (I totally fall in love with this red maxipull and, also considering the dreary day, I started thinking about a mountain chalet, hot chocolate and soft chimney).

L'evento è stato animato anche da una presenza "amica", avevo infatti già conosciuto la bravissima illustratrice Eleonora durante l'evento Desigual di febbraio, ed è stato un piacere ritrovarla e farmi ritrarre nuovamente da lei, con tanto di iPhone in mano, intenta a scattare con Instagram e condividere con voi tutti su Facebook le novità di questa giornata (Instagram & iPhone = nuovo modo per sopravvivere a giornate piene di impegni senza soccombere sotto il peso della reflex).
The event was animated also by a "friendly" presence, in fact I have already met the great illustrator Eleonora during Desigual event in february, and it was really a pleasure meet her again and let her potray me once again, this time with my iPhone while I was taking some photos with Instagram to share with all of you on Facebook all the news of the press day (Instagram & iPhone = my new way to survive to my busy days without yield under my Reflex weight).
