La 'controversa' collaborazione tra Disney e Barney's New York e' uscita! e non e' poi tanto shockante come si pensava. Infatti, non appena sono usciti i bozzetti dei personaggi Disney nei loro outfit da sfilata ad agosto, a molti, me incluso, non sono piaciuti affatto, poiche' Minnie, paperina e Pippo erano molto ma molto allungati e magri. Per fortuna, Minnie, la protagonista principale di 'Electric Holiday', e' secca-allampanata solo per i pochi secondi in cui appare in passerella, ed e' comunque un sogno - tutto il cartone e' basato su Minnie che sogna di essere a Parigi tra gli addetti ai lavori guardando un vestito di Lanvin in vetrina. Devo dire che tutta la sequenza della sfilata sembra una presa in giro di quelle reali, poiche'i personaggi Disney non solo cambiano fisicamente ma si danno anche 'delle arie' e sono seriosissimi. Mi fa veramente piacere che il cartone sia allegro e godibile. Quanti personaggi riuscite a riconoscere?
The 'controversial' collaboration between Disney and Barney's New York is finally out! and not that shocking as we thought. Infact, when the sketches of the Disney characters dressed in runway outfit surfaced in August, lots of people, including me, didn't like it as Minnie, Daisy and Goofy were really really skinny and they didnt look right. Luckily Minnie, who's the main character of the cartoon, is skinny just for the few seconds that she's on the runway, and that's just a dream anyway - the whole cartoon is about her dreaming to be in Paris with the 'fashion pack', just by looking at a Lanvin dress in a window. I have to say that the whole sequence of the Disney characters fashion show looks like a 'spoof' of real ones, as they not only get skinny but also strike an attitude that you never see on their 'regular' faces. So glad that the cartoon is fun and humourous. How many fashion insiders can you spot?
