Ovvero guida all’uso di Pinterest!
Fonte inesauribile e sempre aggiornata di informazioni, il web propone ogni giorno immagini su ogni genere di argomento, per me meravigliosi giardini, particolari fioriture, esempi di bordure, tante altre idee e ispirazioni. Inevitabile raccogliere e collezionare le fotografie che più interessano, una volta occupavano memoria negli hard disk o peggio ancora nei computer stipate alla rinfusa in apposite cartelle, dall’estate del 2011 è stato creato uno spazio online dove raggrupparle. Una sorta di dispensa virtuale dove catalogare ordinatamente i soggetti con possibilità illimitata di inserimenti.

Pinterest è un portale gratuito di grande utilità sia a livello professionale che amatoriale. Presa dimestichezza con le regole di utilizzo diviene prezioso strumento di archiviazione e condivisione.
Per mia stessa natura ho tendenza a conservare, qualsiasi cosa, non si sa mai, anche con le immagini del web è sempre stato così, ho scoperto Pinterest quasi dalla nascita e da allora ho immagazzinato circa 3.8oo pin, si chiamano così le immagini catturate da internet dove “pin” significa “puntina” e “interest” significa “interesse”. All’inizio non sapevo bene come muovere i primi passi per l’utilizzo del nuovo network, poi ho preso la mano, ma come con tutte le cose occorre anche con Pinterest moderazione. Per i tanti amici e i navigatori inesperti come me che hanno chiesto come funziona Pinterest e magari gettato subito la spugna o lasciato perdere pensando all’ennesimo “giochino perditempo”, ho preparato una piccola guida che spero possa essere utile.

collegarsi al sito www.pinterest.com e cliccare sul pulsante “Join Pinterest“ e seguire le facili procedure di iscrizione scegliendo di connettersi al social usando l’account di facebook o twitter, o più semplicemente il proprio indirizzo mail.

Importantissimo soprattutto per chi usa Pinterest per lavoro, creare un profilo di qualità completo oltre che di una fotografia che ci ritragga al meglio, di descrizione personale, di indirizzo web del proprio sito e di segnalazione degli altri social network dove si è presenti. Clicca sul simbolo di modifica, contrassegnato dalla pennina nella pagina principale del profilo.

Ora possiamo creare le BOARD (cartelle) nominandole secondo l’argomento scelto, se per lavoro meglio in inglese, non esageriamo con il numero di cartelle almeno da principio, concentriamo gli interessi per non creare confusione. Esiste la possibilità di creare BOARD nascoste, quelle che non vogliamo mostrare al pubblico, non possono però essere più di tre. Per creare BOARD clicchiamo sul simbolo del + sulla barra di navigazione in alto.

La parte più divertente, possiamo pinnare! Strano verbo coniato per descrivere l’operazione con cui si catturano le immagini dopo ricerca sui siti web preferiti piuttosto che caricando una fotografia proveniente dal nostro blog che ricercandola sulla home page di Pinterest . L’importante è accertarsi che ogni immagine abbia il link di sorgente. Purtroppo più di una volta è capitato che una mia fotografia fosse utilizzata senza l’inserimento di link. Un po’ dispiace in quanto è lavoro perso, passi se è un privato o un collega blogger (come qui) ma quando sono le grandi aziende che non osservano le buone regole la cosa è molto più fastidiosa.
Per inserire un pin cliccare sul simbolo del + sulla barra di navigazione in alto o per pinnare basta cliccare sull’icona rossa pin in alto a sinistra dell’immagine.

E’ capitato ad esempio che Bottega verde abbia pinnato nella sua BOARD “principi attivi” una mia fotografia che rimanda al loro sito. In questo caso ho segnalato allo staff di Pinterest il mancato inserimento del link di sorgente cliccando sul simbolo della bandierina presente su ogni immagine appartenete ad altri utenti Pinterest.

Apprese le regole base è arrivato il momento di divertirsi e per chi ha un sito o un blog, di condividere il proprio lavoro. L’immagine bella e accativante sarà determinante potrà fare il giro del mondo generando traffico. Dovete creare contenuti di valore

Cosa c’entra Pinterest con il giardinaggio? C’entra eccome visto che nel mio profilo ABOUTGARDEN ho creato cartelle suddivise per argomenti per chi vuole migliorare il proprio giardino prendendo spunti ed idee filtrate dalla mia personalissima visione. Vi aspetto!
Esistono molti siti dove è spiegato bene l’uso di Pinterest, ma forse sono troppo tecnici, quando ho finito di scrivere mi sono accorta che anche Home Shabby Home aveva dedicato un post e un altro blog, C’è crisi, C’è crisi, segnalo entrambe in quanto troverete magari approfondimenti differenti.
