The decorated egg, considered a symbol of spring renewal of nature, for Christians is the rebirth of the human being in Christ.
Originally, during the Easter season, the boiled eggs were wrapped with leaves and flowers in order to take on different colors.
Later, in the Middle Ages, were created artificial eggs made of precious materials. An example are those by the famous jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé that in 1883 prepared a special gift for the Empress Maria.
In more recent times, the most famous Easter egg is the classic chocolate egg made by expert chocolatiers and enriched inside a small gift.
Today we use to decorate the house and the table with small eggs made by any type of material and color.
