Falabella, falabella delle mie brame

Roba che se vincessi/ereditassi/ricevessi in dono un qualche considerevole gruzzoletto di euro o questo mi piovesse magicamente in testa dal cielo (ipotesi più probabile la seconda, fidatevi), sarebbe una di quelle pazzie in cui li impiegherei, che si sa che di questi tempi borse e scarpe sono gli investimenti  più sicuri. Per lo meno più del mattone o delle relazioni sentimentali. Per lo meno per la felicità di una donna, o anche solo della mia. E ancora adesso, quando la riconosco al braccio di celebrities o di qualche madre snob che, tutta in tiro, attende l'uscita dei propri pargoli accanto a me alla scuola americana che frequentano i bambini a cui faccio da babysitter, provo la stessa eccitazione mista a sognante invidia della prima volta che l'ho vista su una rivista di moda e ne ho scoperto anche l'esorbitante prezzo. Da quel momento la Falabella di Stella McCartney è entrata a far parte della chilometrica lista delle mie borse preferite e, se ne avessi la possibilità, la sceglierei decisamente nella sua versione basic in pelle nera e catena argentata, sfoggiandola, nemmeno a dirvelo, con qualsiasi look e in qualunque occasione: in spalla o trascinata per la sua catena come sapientemente sanno fare le fashion blogger durante il giorno, per poi ripiegarla su se stessa dopo le 6 di sera e trasformarla in una comoda pochette da portare sotto braccio nei nostri TGIF. Due borse in una, cosa poter desiderare di più? Forse un conto in banca per potersela permettere, ma per fortuna sognarla (ancora) non costa nulla.
Thing that if I won/ inherited/ received as a gift euros or if them rained magically from the sky on my head (the second is more likely, trust me), it would be one of those crazy things in which I put them, that you know these days bags and shoes are the safest investments. At least most of the brick or the romantic relationships. At least for the happyness of a woman, or even mine. And even now, when I recognize it on celebrities or some snobbish mother who waits for her baby next to me at the American school that attend the children to whom I babysit, I feel the same excitement mixed in dreamy envy of the first time I saw it on a fashion magazine and I discovered also the exorbitant price. Since then, the Stella McCartney's Falabella became part of the kilometric list of my favourite bags, and if I had the chance, I would choose it decidedly in its basic black leather and silver chain version, showing it with any look everywhere: on my shoulder or dragged by its chain as fashion bloggers skillfully do during the day, folding it back on itself after 6 pm and turning it into a comfortable pochette to carry under the arm in our TGIF. Two bags in one, what can you wish more? Maybe a bank account to afford it, but fortunately dream is (still) free.
