Una cosa che certamente si può apprezzare di Amsterdam è una particolare attenzione per il design, l'originalità, i colori, l'innovazione e il recupero del vintage insieme. Mai in una città ho visto tante cose particolari, mai viste, simpaticissime.
In questo post vi mostro le fotografie che ho fatto in un negozio di giocattoli, in uno di design e in movie bookshop.

Entrando da De Beestenwinkel non è chiaro se ci si sta addentrando in una giungla, in un parco giochi o in un negozio di desing. Moltissimi giocattoli 'classici' accanto a oggettini inediti e speciali, apprezzabili anche da ragazzi e adulti appassionati o collezionisti.
Ci sono animali da costruire di cartone, come quelli in legno che "svengono" dopo aver schiacciato il bottone sotto la base, peluche a burattino, macchinine a forma di topo e decalcomanie per mimare gli animali con le mani (per intendeci su quest'ultimo, CLICCATE QUI).

Noi qui abbiamo comprato una casetta per gli uccellini di cartone decorato (con sagoma di uccellino incorporata), deliziosa (per la precisione, QUESTA). I prezzi sono nella norma e anzi, in generale, sono un po' più bassi di quelli italiani.
Si trova in IJburglaan 559, in una via molto carina per passeggiare un po' accanto ai canali (QUI la mappa).

Ora passiamo invece ad un graziosissimo negozio di design, oggettistica assurda, gadget e piccolo arredamento. Per questo genere di negozi Amsterdam è molto fornita. Spesso alcuni prodotti si ripetono, ma molti negozi tengono alle loro particolarità. Anche qui i prezzi sono leggermente più bassi di quelli italiani (molti oggetti li ho poi ritrovati da High Tech a Milano, ma con un altro prezzo).
Il negozio si chiama Shop de Ville e si trova in Staalstraat, 11 (QUI la mappa).

Questi borsellini di gomma erano ovunque ad Amsterdam. Li ho trovati carinissimi ma un po' troppo costosi (6-8€). Ora a Milano sono ovunque, perdendo un po' il fascino dell'esotico ;).

E dulcis in fundo, un negozietto che ho trovato davvero notevole. Un bookshop dedicato totalmente al cinema, ai suoi classici intramontabili e alla sua storia. Già il nome è, a mio parere, geniale: Cine Qua Non. Si trova al 14 sempre di Staalstraat.

Personalmente ho trovato che questo genere di piccoli negozi caratterizzino molto Amsterdam. Nella loro particolarità, mantengono la dimensione della piccola attività condotta con passione.
