Fashion Designer Of The Week : Reem Acra

Here we are, with our weekly appointment!This time we talk about a Libanese Fashion Designer : Reem Acra.Her carreer began in 1997 with a Bridal Collection that became recognized for her fantastic style and elegance.Six years later she presented the Ready-to-wear collection, marked by reach colours, lush fabrics, flawless construction, and playful pattern. Acra was discovered in Beirut by a fashion editor who offered to host a fashion show that took place ten days later. She finally studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NY.Those are the dreesses that I love of her last collections: 






The Make up Artist of Reem Acra Fashion Show in 2009 was Polly Osmond (obviously by MAC)The key word for make up was: Taupe. 
Finally... I must post this photo after the last photos. Her dog toy, yey!I know her from a show, presented by Tim Gunn, so inspiring!I immediatly love her dresses, are so feminine and elegant. A lots of actress wear her dress like Eva Longoria, Halle Berry, Oliva Wilde,Reene Zellweger...how to blame them?!Want the green one!! :D Love the desing... Maybe one day I will fly to NY to buy one of her pieces. Unfortunatly here in Italy there aren't Reem Acra Flagship! What do you think about her?!Kisses.Clà
