Fashion dinner at high altitude

Dear followers,today I want to tell you about a fabulous  restaurant in Milan."Unico" restaurant is on the 20th  floor of  the "World Join Center" skyscraper.

You come up in the elevator to the top floor...
...and you arrive directly in the lobby:
I can tell you that everything about this place is unique: first of all the food by famous and talented chef Fabio Baldassarre,then the entrance,the decor,the relaxing atmosphere
Last but not least you get a milion dollar view!
The interior design is just as fascinating:designed by the architect Donata Nicetta, Unico's furnishings are very modern and dominated by the warm land colors
I really like the golden table in the middle of the room: so awesome!
The columns of the room  are dedicated to those who have made great the name of Italy around the world. There is one for the painters, one for the writers and ...one for the designers of course;))


Ceramic place mats with abstracts designs replace the usual cloth mat: 


We begin  with a flute of sparkling wine and delicious appetizers.


The maitre is very kind and informative.He explains  that you have a choice of 6 courses (pleasures), 9 courses (temptations), or 12 courses (vices). Or you can opt for selections from the a la carte menu which, each day, offers different seasonal dishes.We have chosen this option:)
I must admit that everything was delicious !!
I really liked these fried courgette flowers stuffed:
 ...and what about this so tasty rice?;)
  Hard to resist the dessert  after this meal!!
 

But that's not all!
A sweet  surprise after dinner arrives:an irresistible bite-sized sweets! So delicious!;) 


Between courses and other we ventured out onto the terrace and we admired the wonderful view !I admit, the moment of sunset is unique, but the night  is the perfect time to enjoy the city !!
  

 
 From the terrace you can see in the distance  the Duomo of Milan: fabulous!! 

The stunning view and the charm of the place make Unico Restaurant the perfect location for a special evening,but the main reason that makes it memorable is the delicious food !Here is the photo of the very talented chef Fabio Baldassare:


I must confess that I can't wait to go back here for dinner or Sunday brunch!It was an unforgettable and very satisfying experience!XoxoMary
