E' stata ufficialmente inaugurata l'edizione FashionCamp 2011 nello Spazio A-ex Ansaldo, in via Tortona di Milano. L'onore di tagliare il nastro è spettato a Carla Gozzi – blogger, style coaching e conduttrice del programma Sky “Ma come ti vesti?!” - madrina e ospite d'eccezione dell'evento.E’ stata un'esperienza stimolante, diversa dai soliti “fashion events”,dove unico ruolo è quello del classico "bel manihcino" un vero e proprio meeting della moda: il nostro ruolo non è stato di facciata, .
In una location, fedele allo stile urban newyorkese, professionisti del settore, giovani designer, bloggers, “fashion new technologies”, fotografi, attraverso le unconference hanno vivacemente interagito sia nel confronto delle idee che nel lavoro di alcuni workshop: io mi sono dilettata nel dipingere una maglia di Quicksilver e partecipare ad uno shooting fotografico per il contest Maylily; Marco, invece, ha realizzato per il workshop di "ART SHARING" una vera e propria armatura alla Gareth Pugh, Ma ancora.. ci s è potuti confrontare e dialogare con i giovani stylist e quelli già più affermati nell’area del temporary dove era possibile ammirare le loro creazioni.
Insomma, una “grande famiglia” unita da un'unica vera passione: il “fashion” in tutti i suoi aspetti.
