I venti progetti giudicati migliori al concorso per una nuova illuminazione della storica “Casa Melnikov” saranno esposti durante il Salone del Mobile.

The twenty best projects that took part in the contest for a new lighting of the historic “Melnikov House” will be shown during the “Salone del Mobile”.

Quest’anno il consueto appuntamento con le magiche creazioni luminose di Ingo Maurer allo Spazio Krizia durante il Salone del Mobile dal 10 al 14 Aprile, si arricchirà di una nuova attrattiva: verranno presentati i venti progetti giudicati migliori

al concorso per una nuova illuminazione della storica “Casa Melnikov”, il famoso edificio a torre cilindrica con finestre esagonali situato nel centro di Mosca, una delle opere più importanti del periodo del costruttivismo russo dell’architetto Konstantin Melnikov. Saranno esposte anche immagini di altre architetture dell’avanguardia russa degli anni Venti e Trenta.
L’evento ha l’appoggio della Camera di Commercio Italo-Russa, della Fondazione culturale Italo-Russa, del Consolato Italiano in Russia e ha come partner la rivista Project Russia, Expopark-ArchMoscow, Radio Cultura Russia e la Fondazione “Avanguard”, rappresentati dall’architetto Anna Medleva, oltre all’Accademia di Brera, che vedrà come partecipanti al concorso gli studenti della sua cattedra d’illuminotecnica.
Il titolo della mostra di Ingo Maurer di questa stagione sarà: “Funambulists”.

This year the usual appointment with Ingo Maurer’s magical lighting creations at Spazio Krizia during the “Salone del Mobile” in Milan (April 10-14), will be enriched with a new attraction: the twenty best projects that took part in the contest for a new lighting of the historic “Melnikov House”, the famous cylindrical tower with hexagonal windows in the centre of Moscow, one of the most important works of Russian Constructivism, designed by the architect Konstantin Melnikov, Images of other architecture works of the Russian avantgarde of the Twenties and Thirties will also be shown.
The event is supported by the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, by the Italian-Russian foundation and by the Italian Consulate in Russia and it has partners such as the magazine Project Russia, Expopark-ArchMoscow, Radio Cultura Russia, the “Avanguard” foundation (represented by the architect Anna Medleva), as well as the Academy of Brera, whose students of lighting engineering will take part in the contest.
The title of Ingo Maurer’s exhibition of this season will be “Funambulists”.
