Parliamo di una gelateria nascosta dalla strada, ubicata in quartiere fatto di palazzi stretti gli uni agli altri. Siamo in zona Portonaccio/Tiburtina nota per locali come il Qube, zeppa di studenti fuori sede che affittano e subaffittano stanze e letti a castello. Un'atmosfera giovane e viva fino a tarda notte (per chi è giovane dentro e passa sopra a qualche schiamazzo).Qui o sei forte in quello che fai o non ti nota nessuno e fai presto a fallire.

Lubrano è quindi un fenomeno da studiare. Un fenomeno che però ha un'evidente tesi a sostegno del suo essere celebre: la qualità e la passione (nda). In zona di gelaterie ne troverete quante ne volete ma il capannello di golosi che c'è da Lubrano testimonia della bontà del prodotto. Siamo andati in compagnia di amici ad assaggiare i gelati e quindi troverete giudizi diversi ma tutti confermano una sola cosa: provare per credere. E ora noi crediamo, eccome. Ad esempio il mio gelato con croccante all'amarena, pistacchio e nocciola era squisito, si scioglieva in bocca senza lasciare sapori artificiali al retrogusto. Le brevi interviste da noi effettuate grazie alla gentile collaborazione di Chiara, Sara e Sara e Yuri vi consentiranno di ammirare questi coni come se stessero per essere vittime della vostra fame in presa diretta.Volendo abbinare un gusto estivo e fresco a questi sapori lungo la via Tiburtina non possiamo che abbinare l'allegro ed estivo mood delle Radici del Cemento... " Ce siete mai stati in mezzo ar traffico de Roma ?"

Rome. Summer. Hot. Gelato. It was about time to try a new one, and the weather is just inviting to. So, let's head to the students populated area of Tiburtina/portonaccio, where some of the most famous nightlife clubs are located: think of the Qube, or the Traffic. Here, life goes on until late at night and some clever entrepeneurs have had the predictable idea of opening a food shop. The question is, the quantity is not all that counts, so only if you propose something different - and good! - you survive. Bars and pizzerias close up and reopen one day and the other, but a few of them have established their reputation. One of the few is the gelateria we're going to introduce today, called Lubrano. The ice cream is, in one word, delicious. We had the opportunity to taste a few flavours and they were all good. Cherry, pistaccio, nocciola: all the ingredients are natural, no artificial flavours or colorings are used. And you can taste it. Needless to say, the place is always crowded, but if you're not afraid just go, even though you have to queue for a while.
