Questo articolo l’ho pensato, con un po’ di presunzione, per continuare l’opera fantastica che stanno facendo i responsabili della trasmissione di Italia1.Il metodo Vannoni potrebbe essere un modo per salvare moltissimi bambini affetti da patologie “quasi” incurabili. Un metodo scientifico, altamente specializzato, che attraverso le cellule staminali prelevate dall’individuo stesso, potrebbe davvero dare una grande mano alle persone condannate da patologie terribili, alle loro famiglie che soffrono vedendo i propri bambini patire, alla scienza stessa per poter finalmente capire qualcosa in più riguardo certe malattie.Ma il Consiglio Superiore della Sanità Italiana… ha bloccato giudiziariamente questo metodo, perché il Dott. Vannoni non ha scelto di sperimentare il metodo, ma ha preferito usare le cure così dette “compassionevoli”. Praticamente, il blocco c’è stato perché la legge obbliga ad usare tali metodi in cliniche adibite, non in ospedali comuni, ma in laboratori farmaceutici con tanto di permessi emanati da organi come il CSS o addirittura l’UE. La prima cosa che mi viene da pensare è: seppur non si sono verificati effetti collaterali, seppur i miglioramenti sugli individui che ne hanno usufruito sono evidenti, perché ostinarsi a non legalizzare questa nuova metodica? Ci sono cause che non riguardano la salute? Moralità? Interessi? Soldi!? Sono solo alcune domande alle quali non so rispondermi…Che le cellule staminali siano di vitale importanza per ognuno di noi, oramai è stato declamato da parecchio tempo, ma ciò non basta… Vannoni estrarrebbe in maniera attiva queste cellule dal nostro organismo, le farebbe riprodurre per poi re-iniettarle nel nostro corpo in quantità assai maggiore. Con due iniezioni si è visto che combattere certe patologie quali Sla o Parkinson, si può! La malattia non viene sconfitta definitivamente, ma le condizioni di vita degli affetti migliorano in maniera enorme. La piccola Celeste o Sofia, lottano con le loro famiglie, per cercare di sopravvivere a delle malattie atroci… Vi immaginate cosa è significato per Sofia, bimba di 3 anni, vivere i primi anni della sua vita vedendo, capire, parlare, e poi piano piano peggiorare sempre più, fino a diventare cieca, emettere solo piccoli gemiti, respirando a fatica, non riuscendo a deglutire. Immaginate… Eppure c’è un giudice, che accusa Vannoni di voler “trarre guadagni da pazienti con malattie neurodegenerative senza speranza”… a parte il fatto che attualmente l’unica speranza risiede proprio nelle cellule staminali. Ora mi chiedo io, come si chiederanno sicuramente anche i genitori di Celeste o di Sofia, secondo voi uno scienziato che studia una vita e mette al servizio le sue conoscenze e il suo intelletto per la ricerca, cercando di migliorare le condizioni di vita delle persone, quale guadagno può esser mai paragonato a tutto ciò!? Voglio un valore! La Stamina Foundation fondata da Vannoni, è un ONLUS…Per fortuna, ma quando si parla di salute non dovrebbe riguardare la fortuna, “Le Iene” si sono prese in carico questa missione, mettendo in evidenza questo caso, promulgando il metodo Vannoni e cercando di avere risposte dal Governo Italiano.Adesso un decreto ad hoc, è stato creato per curare Sofia che ha urgente bisogno di accedere a queste cure “compassionevoli”.E mi sento di dare il merito ai genitori di Sofia e alle “Iene” che hanno lottato per questo. Purtroppo però il decreto è solo ad hoc, molte persone non potranno fare uso di queste cure, e sembra quasi che nessuna casa farmaceutica, o lo Stato stesso non abbiano interesse nell’approfondire l’argomento, sperimentare, dare una speranza a queste persone che vorrebbero vivere…Giungete voi alle conclusioni…
