Finally the nominations for the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards were revealed.
I love the awards and all that’s around, but yesterday I just forgot to be revealed those of the Golden Globe, and so, when I got home after hours in the gym, I found out what they were and I found that they had to be just yesterday revealed … and, seriously, a part of my mind began to think that I was finished unknowingly into a black hole. The vision of Interstellar has changed my life. So either it was a black hole that transported me into the future … or is it too much weeds that I smoke that is doing serious damage to my memory.
I am rational: I go for the black hole.
However, with seven nominations, Birdman is Oscar frontrunner. Five nominations each were Boyhood and The Imitation Game. The biopic about Martin Luther King, Selma, instead stays behind.
Absent Clint Eastwood and his American Sniper and Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken, recently called “minimally talented spoiled brat’ by a loving exchange of email between producers (read you it?), while Interstellar only receives a nomination for the best soundtrack … the ubiquitous Hans Zimmer …
And I know someone who will not be at all happy. Ahem.
No wonder the presence of Jennifer Aniston and Jake Gyllenhaal who are very ugly for Cake and Nightcrawler, nor that of Julianne Moore Still Alice and Maps to the Stars, but surprisingly, that instead of Quvenzhané Wallis for Annie.
