Golden globes 2013: argo f**k yourself, spielberg

Condividi Questa notte sono stati consegnati i Golden Globes 2012 e non è che si possa dire siano stati una sorpresa o una rivoluzione mai vista, ma quanto meno qualche sorpresuccia c’è stata e i premi si sono rivelati per lo più azzeccati. Innanzitutto, Ar-go fuck yourself Spielberg! Argo ha battuto il grande favorito della vigilia Lincoln come miglior film drammatico dell’anno e Ben Affleck pure qui piuttosto a sorpresa ha sconfitto il perfido Spielberg come miglior regista. Per il resto non è che siano stati degli awards così inaspettati. Tra le mie previsioni della vigilia, ne ho azzeccate 19 su 25 categorie. Se non ci credete, potete andare a controllare riguardandovi il post che ho pubblicato ieri. Nella categoria di miglior film musical o comedy dell’anno ha trionfato Les Misérables, con tanto di premi pure alla Anne Hathaway come miglior attrice non protagonista e allo Hugh Jackman miglior non protagonista. Per il resto, sono contentissimo per i premi alle attrici: Jennifer Lawrence e Jessica Chastain. Doppio oh yeah! (anche se Marion Cotillard porcaccia la miseria quanto meritava pure lei…). Due premi poi a Django Unchained di Tarantino: miglior sceneggiatura e miglior attore non protagonista con Christoph Waltz, non Leo DiCaprio per lo scontento di molti. Comunque… Go Quentin! Go Quentin! Go Quentin! Bene anche il premio ad Adele per la miglior canzone Skyfall. Sono decisamente meno contento invece per i premi a Daniel Day-Lewis come miglior attore protagonista, a Ribelle - The Brave miglior pellicola d’animazione (Frankenweenie scippato!), al prevedibile premio ad Amour come miglior film straniero, mentre per la colonna sonora non ho ancora visto Vita di Pi quindi preferisco non infierire commentare. La serata si è inoltre segnalata per il coming out pubblico fatto da Jodie Foster, vincitrice del premio alla carriera Cecil B. DeMille. Una confessione che comunque non ha sorpreso nessuno visto che era un po’ il segreto di Pulcinella. Che poi qual è, questo segreto di Pulcinella?

Tutto sommato è andata quindi bene, per quanto riguarda la parte cinematografica. Ancora meglio sono andate le cose nella sezione televisiva, dove sono state premiate le serie drama e comedy che ho preferito nell’ultimo anno. Homeland miglior serie drama senza rivali, e sono stati premiati pure i due strepitosi protagonisti Claire Danes e Damian Lewis, mentre Girls abbastanza a sorpresa si è portato a casa il meritatissimo Globe di miglior serie comedy, con Lena Dunham pure miglior attrice protagonista. Giusto così. Bene anche i premi al film tv politico Game Change, che ho apprezzato, e al mitico Don Cheadle di House of Lies, mentre sono più dubbioso riguardo ai comunque previsti awards a Kevin Costner e a Maggie Smith, ma alla fine non mi posso lamentare troppo. Sono stati dei Golden Globes parecchio soddisfacenti per quanto mi riguarda e continuo a gridare: Arglobe fuck yourself, Spielberg!
