Grassroots Reserche Labs- Pomegranate Super Anti-Oxidant Creme

Buongiorno, ragazze! Oggi vorrei parlarvi di un prodotto, che ho preso quasi per scommessa, lo scorso Luglio da Sephora. Si tratta di una crema idratante che era in offerta, la Pomegranate Super Anti-Oxidant Creme- with Himalayan Goji Berry, di una marca a me sconosciuta (fino a quel momento): Grassroots Reserch Labs.

Good morning, girls! Today I would like to talk about a product, I took almost bet, last July  in a Sephora store. It’s a moisturizer that was on offer, the Pomegranate Super Anti-oxidant creams-with Himalayan Goji Berry, a brand unknown to me (so far): Grassroots Reserch Labs.

La commessa mi ha spiegato che si tratta di una controllata della Estée Lauder (anche se sul loro sito non c’è nessun collegamento dichiarato), così, un po’ per fiducia nei prodotti di Estée Lauder, un po’ per curiosità, ho deciso di acquistarla. Le proprietà di questa crema sono una vera e propria spremuta di antiossidanti, ricavati dalla melograna, per difendere la pelle dai radicali liberi, dall’inquinamento ambientale (sole, smog, fumo) e all’invecchiamento. L’azione degli anti-radicali liberi ricavati dalla melagrana è potenziata dall’associazione con le bacche Goji, un frutto che cresce nella zona dell’Himalaya (e di cui ignoravo l’esistenza), che è conosciuto anche come “il frutto tollerante, vista la sua adattabilità ad un clima estremamente rigido per lungo tempo.

Sulla scatola, di un bel rosso vivo, c’era scritto che migliorava il tono della pelle e che avrebbe migliorato la barriera cutanea. Visto che dovevo cambiare crema idratante, e che il mio viso aveva un colorito spento ed opaco, l’ho presa. Spesso ci dimentichiamo che la stagione peggiore per la pelle, superati i trent’anni, è l’estate, non tanto perché l’inverno non abbia i suoi problemi, ma perché all’estate non siamo preparati, mentre al freddo sì. D’inverno scegliamo creme più ricche, magari più grasse a volte, che ricoprono e nutrono la pelle per ripararla dal freddo. Ma d’estate? D’estate non succede nulla, vero? Tanto fa caldo. Tanto c’è il sole. E invece anche l’estate può causare problemi alla pelle, proprio per via del sole e proprio per le elevate temperature di questa stagione, che asciugano sì i brufoli e le piccole imperfezioni della pelle, ma anche le riserve idriche degli strati superficiali dell’epidermide.

In winter, we choose a richer mosturized, perhaps more fat at times, holding and nourish the skin to protect from the cold. But in the summer? In summer, nothing happens, right? It’s hot. It’s sunny. But the summer can also cause skin problems, precisely because of the sun and because of the high temperatures of this season, so that dry spots and small blemishes, but also the water resources of the superficial layers of the epidermis .

Arrivata a casa, ho aperto la confezione e ho letto con attenzione il foglietto in allegato. L’odore della crema idratante è dolce, ma non troppo zuccherino, e se in un primo momento appare grassa al tatto, una volta spalmata sul viso si assorbe in fretta e non tira, né tantomeno unge la pelle. Favolosa. L’ho usata per quattro settimane giorno e notte. E devo dire che funziona. Il colorito era effettivamente più radioso (come quello che dovrebbe avere una sposa il giorno delle sue nozze) e la pelle mi sembrava più compatta. Più tonica. Ovviamente, si tratta solo di un effetto visivo, avrei dovuto fare un test specifico, che magari analizzasse gli stati dell’epidermide, qualcosa di più scientifico di un colpo d’occhio, però posso dire che mi ha lasciato soddisfatta. davvero sodisfatta. Non la uso tutti i giorni, ma la alterno a delle creme idratanti specifiche per le pelli miste. È un’ottima crema, sia da giorno che, ancor di più da notte, e, all’occorrenza, può essere usata in tutta serenità anche per la delicatissima zona del contorno occhi.

Got home, I opened the package and read carefully the attached sheet. The smell of the moisturizer is sweet, but not too much, and if at first impression seems greasy to the touch, once spread on face absorbs quickly and does not roll, nor greasy skin. Fabulous. I used it day and night for four weeks. And I must say that it works. The color was actually more radiant (like what should be a bride on her wedding day) and my skin seemed more compact. Firmer. Obviously, this is just a visual effect, I had to do a specific test, which were perhaps analyze the epidermis, something more scientific a glance, but I can say I’m satisfied. Really satisfied. Now  I do not use every day, but I alternate it to the specific moisturizers for combination skin. It’s a great cream, both day and, even more so by night, and, if necessary, can be used with peace of mind for the delicate eye area.

La confezione in vendita da Sephora era un vasetto da 50 ml, al prezzo (scontato) di dieci euro. Sul sito della grassroots il costo si aggira attorno ai 32 dollari (spese di spedizioni escluse, e sempre ammesso che le effettuino, dagli Stati Uniti in Italia). Purtroppo non l’ho più vista, ed è questo alla fine il vero e unico neo di questo prodotto, ma i commessi mi hanno detto che era una specie di esperimento, e che, magari, tra qualche mese potremmo trovare altri prodotti in vendita. Se passate da Sephora, tenete d’occhio la zona delle casse e/o quella delle promozioni.

The package on sale at Sephora was a 50 ml jar, the price (discounted) of ten euro. On the site of grassroots the cost is around $ 32 (excluding shipping costs, if it is dispatched from U.S to Italy). Unfortunately I have not seen it, and this is in the end, the real fly in the ointment of this product, but the clerks told me that was a kind of experiment, and maybe a few months we may find other products for sale. If you go to Sephora, keep an eye on the area of boxes and / or the promotions.
