Green dye

Auguri a tutti i Patrizio e Patrizia che passano di qui!Vi siete mai chiesti perchè, nel giorno di S. Patrizio tutto si tinge di verde? E perchè mai un trifoglio simboleggia questa giornata? In realtà il Saint Patrick's Day ha origini irlandesi. San Patrizio, è infatti il patrono dell'Irlanda e viene festeggiato il 17 marzo, giorno in cui morì il Santo. La leggenda dice che San Patrizio utilizzò un trifoglio per illustrare ai Celti il concetto cristiano di Trinità. Il Saint Patrick's Day è una festa molto sentita non solo in Irlanda. Anche il Inghilterra, in Canada e USA vengono organizzate sfilate, s'indossano capi verdi, si tengono concerti, nei ristoranti viene servito uno speciale menù "green" ed in alcune città i fiumi vengono tinti di verde.

Have you ever wondered why in the St. Patrick's Day all goes green?Why a shamrock is symbolized in this day?(If as I suppose, you already know it... well you can jump ahead!) :DSaint Patrick's Day is an Irish holiday, the Saint is the patron of Ireland and he is celebrated on March 17, the day when he died. The legend says that St. Patrick used a shamrock to illustrate to the Celtic the Christian doctrine of the Trinity.Celebrating St. Patrick's Day is not just for the Irish!In England, Canada and USA there are parades, concerts, people wear green, the restaurants serve a special green menù and in some cities the rivers are dyed green.So, yesterday was my green day and I created these green shamrock with paper floss and and green dye.Sooner will be Spring... stay tuned! 
Presa dalla smania del verde, ieri ho realizzato questi tri-quadrifogli con del filo di carta e tintura verde.
