Green? Emerald green? I’m dreaming of the Emerald City

Hello World,

Today my mind is full only with positive thoughts, they came with the vision of the “Great and Powerful Oz.” Not only because the movie is really nice, but it certainly brings me  back sweet memories of my childhood.

For example, when I forced my mom to see “The Wizard of  Oz” and when I convinced my mother  to buy me a pair of red shoes  with a lot of sequins.
Do you understand why this outfit is red and green (although not emerald)?

… But in honor of a great novel and its prequel.

Oggi la mia mente è invasa solo da pensieri positivi, arrivati dalla visione del “Grande e Potente Oz”. Non solo perché il film è veramente bello, ma perché ha risvegliato in me ricordi dolcissimi della mia infanzia.

Ad esempio quando obbligavo mia mamma a vedere “Il mago di Oz” o quando mi sono fatta comprare un paio di scarpette rosse tempestate di paillettes.

Avete capito perché in questo outfit c’è il rosso e il verde (anche se non smeraldo)?

…Ma in onore a un gran romanzo e al suo prequel.

Hola Mundo,

Hoy mi mente está llena de solo pensamientos positivos, gracias a la visión de “el grande y poderoso Oz”. No sólo porque la película es muy bonita, sino también porque me trajo dulces recuerdos de mi infancia.

Por ejemplo, cuando obligaba mi mamá a ver “El mago de Oz” y cuando la convenci  a comprarme un par de zapatos rojos con lentejuelas.

¿Entienden por qué este atuendo con los colores rojo y verde (aunque no es esmeralda)?
