Handmade butterfly

Lo confesso: la mia mente creativa, mi porta a trovare ispirazione in ogni dove, mi porta anche "all'insana abitudine" di collezionare qualsiasi cosa riguardi il riciclo.La scorsa settimana, per esempio, prima della perturbazione che ha colpito il Nord Italia, camminando in un giardino ho raccolto un po' di materiale autunnale da mettere in un centro tavola: alcune ghiande, alcune foglie dai colori autunnali impensabili (nere e viola???) alcune bacche.Con le foglie in avanzo ho creato queste:For my English friends:(sorry for my bad English)I confess: my creative mind let me find inspiration everywhere and bring me to have "the unhealthy habit" of collecting everything about recycling.Last week for example, before the bad weather hit North Italy, walking in a garden, I picked up some autumn material to put in an table centerpiece: a few acorns,  a few leaves with unthinkable autumn colors (black and purple? ?) some red berries.With any surplus leaves I created these: Come si fa? Facilissimo!Prendete una foglia abbastanza grande e applicate sul retro del nastro adesivo trasparente. Questo servirà a preservare la farfalla quando la foglia sarà secca. Inoltre vi faciliterà la fase di taglio delle ali.How is it made? Very very easy!Apply some strips of transparent tape to the back of a big leaf. This will help you to preserve the butterfly when the leaf will be dry. In addition, you will be facilitated in the cutting phase of the wings.Disegnate 4 ali di farlalla sul retro della foglia.
Now you can draw 4 butterfly wings on the back of the leaf directly on the tape.  Tagliate tutte le ali e assemblatele con un po' di colla. Potete creare il corpo della farfalla utilizzando del fimo oppure tagliando la parte centrale direttamente da una foglia scura. Cut all the wings and assemble them with glue. You can create the body of the butterfly using Fimo (or any polimer clay) or cut it directly from a dark leaf. For a brilliant effect try with Glimmer Mist: sprayed it on the wings for a sparkly look!  Mi sono divertita a crearne alcune semplici altre più elaborate utilizzando anche il Glimmer Mist spruzzato sulle ali. Effetto brillante, da provare!! La farfalla con il corpo in fimo la utilizzerò come decorazione per una pacco regalo e l'altra con il corpo in foglia... domani vi mostrerò dov'è volata! I enjoyed a lot to create some simple butterflies and more elaborate.
